So, I won't lie, I got this 8 by 13 griddlebecause I do not like the design of the oil reservoirs on the square griddles i was seeing available to purchase.This manufacturer is one of a few that I saw that made a few different options for griddles that other brands didnt have, and they all seem to be cheaper as well. So I took a chance on this one despite the reviews of people saying their cast iron cracked or warped in the oven when seasoning their new cookware.From the get go, I felt like this was doing a great job while cooking. I've only had it a day, but I have seasoned it three times in different ways and cooked two meals on it already. Tonight I'll be having steak for my dogs first birthday and I'm going to cook on it as well. Wish me luck!I think this is perfect for my camp stove as well. I have inserted a photo of the item sitting on my Coleman single burner the long way (to prevent the fuel cartridge from heating).The 10" square griddle would have fit much better since the burner is 10", but I think of the extra real estate on this griddle as a plus.Example: if I cook with the burner on the bottom 2/3rd of the griddle there is a spot that is 1/3 not as hot and a problem I sometimes have is overcooking my bacon while camping. Now I can slide the ready bacon bits over where the heat ismt as intense, and hopefully won't overcook.Overall, do I recommend? Yes. It will work for me for now both in my home and out camping. And whenever I want to upgrade, this can stay in my camping kit. Love it!

Pair excellently and fits the center oval gas burner neatly on my Frigidaire gas stove. I'm considering getting another so i can use the "griddle mark" ribbed side for cooking on one griddle and the flat side for searing on the other griddle.

Good size for a stove middle burner.. the only thing is that it takes a while to heat. Easy to clean.

Product feels well made- however, the heat distribution is poor. When cooking tortillas, they do not cook evenly. tried switching from front to back and moving it around but still does not cook/heat evenly.

I bought this to use while cooking on the grill. I do not like my food to make contact with the grill rails. This is perfect for cooking burgers, chicken, pork chops, and makes beautiful grill lines or you can use the smooth side for fish, etc. Just place it on the grill before you light it so it will get hot and the food will not stick to it. Or you can put a little oil on your meat before placing it on the grill. To clean, what I do, is let it soak in hot water while eating then I use a cast iron brush to scrape anything left on it. Dry immediately, then rub a thin layer of Crisco on it. This is so much better than using the mats, and they’re hard to keep clean. This may take a few more steps but this is worth it. I use this probably 2 to 3 times a week.

Nice even Heat distribution when place on my Weber Grill … Cooked a 2.6 lb Tomahawk Steak to perfection . Easy clean up especially that I don’t have to clean my much harder to clean grill .

Not worth ordering. The griddle arrived all covered in black soot and warped. Warped enough that grease would collect in the low part if I used it. Don't open the package over a light colored rug, You will have black soot on it if you do. you can see where fingers have touched the grill and the black soot inside the plastic wrapper in the pictures.

I use this in my small outdoor propane grill. Cooks evenly and keeps the grease off the grill insides.
