I bought these a while ago on sale and I'm very happy. The sound quality is good, and they fit well. I've accidentally dropped the case and/or individual earbuds on hard surfaces on multiple occasions, and despite the lovely new crack in the case (curse these butter fingers) they still work fine. I will say the left earbud is quieter than the right one by maybe 20%? But this happened a good few months after I had them so it could be related to a drop. Overall very satisfied and I will definitely buy again when my current ones die!!

I consider myself a connoisseur of cheap earbuds, as I have found that there is almost no reliable upgrade in paying for more expensive (passive NR) models. These earbuds continue to prove my theory right. Once again the audio quality is on par with most. Clear, plenty of low end, and a very usable volume sweep. I am accustomed to really high-quality sound from speakers and headphones, and the quality here does not annoy or reduce the quality of my experience. I installed the app to play with EQ settings, but there is really no need, imo. They have about 12 presets, but no custom settings. They are done right, for the most part, as the changes are subtle. But the default curve is totally acceptable.What impresses me most about these is the battery life. I use my earbuds almost exclusively at night for sleeping or in the yard. I have no trouble getting through the whole night on a single charge with these up to and beyond 10 hours on a single charge. They are, by far, the best-lasting buds I have ever used. As mentioned in the literature, a quick 10 minute charge will give you another hour or two of listening, which is really convenient.Passive noise reduction for earbuds is almost entirely a physical property. You need to get a good seal around your ear cups to reduce external noise. These are good, but not great. That said, they do not claim to have any noise reduction, so that is fine. Overall, I do feel that the provide cups did not really suit my large ear canals, and I had to dig through my drawers and find a more suitable fitting pair. Even still, these are not the most snug earbuds and I often have to re-seat them in place. This is not an issue while laying down though, and the small size is more comfortable for sleeping than my previous ones.The one knock against these, and it is a bit of a bummer, is that there is very little visual feedback. There is a light on the front of the charging case that will blink while charging, or go full white when charged. It is not graduated so that you know how much of a charge you have. The buds themselves don't really have any lights on them at all. I appreciate this while using at night, because I really don't need lights while I am using the device. But I would like some feedback related to charging status and connection status on the buds themselves - just a simple red light to show that they are charging, would be great. I think they might flash a single light here and there, but it is too minimal.

Wish i can give 5 stars cause i love JBL productz but i cant. I do want to say love the colors to choose from especially the purple. The sound is the best ive come across and the noise canceling is one of the best and thata why i HATE doing 3 stars but for me they never stay in my ears for more than 5 minutes unless im sitting perfectly still with my head tilted back. I use earbuds for about 7 if not more hours a day and especially the job i do i cant have them falling out if my ear. Sadly my first pair b4 these one fell out and i believe it went in somebody's basket of clothes and havent seen it since. I wish it stayed put in my ear but now they sit in my purse while i use one that wraps around my ear. Again i really wish they didnt fall out and i hate complaining but this helps stuff get fixed.

I have used these headphones every day for almost 1.5 years. You would think a long-term user like me would rave about them, but I'm actually finally taking the time to explain just how much I hate this product.The one positive thing I have to say about these headphones is that they are durable. I know that because I drop them probably once a week. I'm not clumsy - these buds just have the perfect shape and texture to never let me get a firm grip as I take them out of the case.You have to charge the case, then unplug for the earbuds themselves to charge. I've often made the mistake of charging the case overnight, then heading out for the day and realizing I have a fully charged case and dead earbuds.Every once in a while, both buds will make this sudden screeching sound that makes me feel like I ruptured my ear drum. Also, sometimes when I cross an intersection, the audio gets knocked out of sync, I assume by magnetic field that some lights have to detect traffic.The low battery notification is the single worst thing about these headphones. You get maybe a 15 minute warning before your headphones are dead. The chime itself is an obnoxious sound that is louder than the music. The headphones chime individually and out of sync, and it somehow messes up the audio, making it sound like it's underwater for several seconds after. And worse of all, it goes off every 2 minutes, so it interrupts every song. Give us a 30+ minute warning and a reminder every ten minutes and three lights on the case to show the battery like every other pair of headphones!These are the worst earbuds I have ever owned. The only reason I haven't thrown them away is that I am lazy and they somehow continue to function, probably to spite me.
