PRO Walnut Kitchen Necessities 7 Granny Fork"

I don't understand the term granny. what is special about this fork? do i eat with it? what do i use it for? why does everyone love it?

The entire meat fork is 7 inches from fork tip to the end of the handle or just the handle is 7 inches and the fork part not included in measurement??

Is this too big to use as a dinner Fork ?? I have big hands and a normal fork seems to dwarf in my hands .

Does the handle wobble/rock like most Lamson products with two rivets?
