These were perfect for a fourth point that I needed to secure my sun shade. I used all 4 point of the sunshade. 3 attached to my house/roof and a 4th one I used the pole used for string lights. It's a buildable height, had like 10-12 inch claw like spikes into the ground for stability, and I left the bottom piece (12 inches) in the ground for easy access and that piece remains stable. I cut about a foot of pool noodle to cover the piece that I left in the ground so no little ones would get hurt on it, or myself lol. The poles are made of good material and there are 2 in a pack. I will be purchasing more of these to use for their intended purchase now that I know they are great quality and structure.

We purchased these poles to hang lights around our back patio. These poles were super easy to put together and install. It came with stuff to attach to a fence, but we put them in the ground. The top has a little hook area that makes it super easy to string the lights. We've had them up for a month now and have had no issues at all. I would definitely purchase these again because they are high quality and a great value.

Fast shipping. Next day for me.4 stars for inaccurate description. Actually total length is 9 ft. From ground to where the lights lay is 8 ft. Good for my purpose, around our the deck but may matter to others with higher decks. People can still walk under the lights with no problem.Easy to assembly by twisting the poles together and easy use. 10" in the soil. 1 thick large middle stake and 4 smaller outer stakes. Good color. I used a mallet to pound into the ground so I am not sure if the paint chips. Thicker poles so Im hoping they stand up to the high winds we get I recommend this seller and product.

This product arrived in a timely manner, was well packaged and appears to be of good quality. The material is more heavy duty than I expected. I appreciate the way the poles anchor securely into the ground. I have 2 strings of lights on mine and the poles hold them up and in place - and they have stayed in place even though the ground has just been laid and landscaped. (they have been in the ground for 3 weeks now). I am well satisfied with this product especially starting the price point I paid. I would purchase again and would recommend others to purchase this product as well.

Great poles! They work as advertised and hold up even in strong winds! I've bought 2 sets for shade cloth and love them. They are a much better value than those at Lowes for double the price.

The installation of the poles in my small rock and soil mixture was easier than I had expected. The tines on the base are long, sharp, and sturdy enough to ensure the poles stay in place. Poles are more secure attached to a fence or building. Seller's recommended distance between poles is 6 to 10 feet.I found that the poles should be between 3 to 6 feet apart because the string of lights I am using are heavier causing the poles to lean.Maybe better with lighter weight strings of lights.
