Definitely does what it says. I use it every 4 weeks rather than the 6 it says on the directions and I have been spider free on my balcony since I first used it.Would recommend

I’ve done my pre autumn clear and spider spray and so far this has worked! Dead smaller spiders found on patio outside door where the inner frames were sprayed. Good repellent, no odour, and does the job! Would recommend. I will definitely be buying more!

In an ideal world, we can learn to live with the creepy crawlies that come in the house, but we all know that this isn’t going to happen. Speaking for myself, I can’t and won’t tolerate spiders in the house, especially large house spiders. I don’t have anyone with me who can remove them for me, so it’s down to me. They give me the creeps and sorry, but they have to die. Even handling dead ones freaks me out. What you need is a fast acting, effective spray that will stop them in their tracks. This is it. A spray or two ( one will work, two makes sure) and within a couple of minutes the spider is dead. Then I hoover it up. Job done. I have tried other products, including one by a well-known pest control company which is supposed to glue the spider and eventually kill it. Only problem is, it simply doesn’t work. I sprayed a tiny spider in my bedroom and 24 hours later it was still there and still alive. I sprayed it again. Still didn’t work. Worse, when I read the small print on the bottle, it admitted that the spray doesn’t work on bigger spiders. So what exactly is the point of buying it? The solution is to put sentiment aside and use something that does the job, like Dope. I don’t know if it’s cruel but it’s certainly quick. The spider will immediately show signs of distress and even if it runs under the furniture, it won’t last long. And it will be safe to go back in the room again. Meantime, do what you can to discourage them from coming in, like peppermint oil in a water spray.

Good spray bottle, it will reach spiders on the ceiling. Killed the spider, but it was not a instant death, it took around a minute. The spider will lose all control of its body while dying, so it can't run anywhere, but it can give you nightmares! I would recommend spraying the spider and then leaving the room for a few minutes.

We have an oak framed extension which is the perfect home for spiders. with very high ceilings and lots of areas for spiders I was getting fed up of cleaning webs almost every day. I don't spray this product directly onto spiders as tbh, that's just crawl. So I removed all the spiders and then used this spray in all the areas they liked to go. One thing I noticed is, it made all my family's noses run like we had hay fever. This now means I'm basically banned from using it in the house by my wife. Apart from the allergy like symptoms it gives people, it seems to have stopped any spiders coming back and our extension has been 95% spider free for the last 2 weeks. It's just a shame about the side effects.

I had my doubts but after spraying about 400ml of the 500ml bottle around every possible entry point to my flat (I have extremely severe arachnophobia), I have stopped finding spiders running around, and have started finding their dead bodies everywhere instead. The poison takes about 30 seconds to a minute to kill spiders if it hits them directly, and clearly a few minutes if they walk across it. I could never cope when a live spider ran away and got ‘lost’ behind something, but now I feel more confident that they will only be running away to die, not lay eggs or lie in wait for me to be having a bad day so they can run out and trigger a mental breakdown…Don’t forget vents, extractor fans, gaps around windows etc. as they seem to thrive when these spaces are left unguarded. I suspect some bad reviews are from less thorough spraying of this stuff, as it clearly works very well when it’s sprayed in heavy doses.Only thing to be aware of is that it can irritate your throat if you spray a huge amount in an unventilated space; well, it irritated mine. But only for a couple days, and I would rather struggle with breathing than be stuck with rampant spider breeding!

At the moment it is possibly working. I have been using it since august and have not seen any large spiders yet. it might be that i have just been lucky. it is worth a go. a little expensive.

I'd give this zero stars if I could. We have two CCTV cameras that are being constantly triggered by spiders. Both cameras and surrounding areas, all nooks and crannies have been sprayed with this, more than once. The spiders walk straight through it, it has no effect on them whatsoever. Total waste of money in our particular circumstances.
