ClaeysOld Fashioned Hard Candy - 6 Pack - Licorice - Since 1919

I miss old fashioned licorice candy after being gluten free for decades. These big, hard candies transport me back to another time.

My husband LOVES anything authentic black licorice flavor and THIS is it. There is a significant difference! The taste of these are deep, almost savory not overly sweet and have a great little bite to them! Love the "sanded" and they don't stick together. He's keeping me busy with re-orders and I just hope I am able to find his faves for a long time to come!

I am not thrilled with the candy I received today. It's claeys black licorice flavor which when I ate my first piece realized it is old. Hardly any licorice flavor at all. It's sweet sugary tasting but no black licorice flavor like I have had many times before. Thought the date says good til May of 25 it's not up to the standard I have come to know from Claeys. And best of all it can't be returned. So the $18.00 I spent on 6 bags is gone. Lesson learned.
