My mortar & Pestle came in with no cracks, hairline fractures, or any other kind of damage. I love it!!! I already washed it out with warm water to clean it out of the rock powder. Cannot wait to use it!Also to add: I love how it came with a non-slip pad, brush, and spoon to dip out your crushed herbs or spices!

Both mortars are deep enough unusually to prevent hard items such as peppercorns from jumping out. Shape of both pestles is superior to any others I have. Out of perhaps 30 granite mortars and pestles I've purchased over a 15 year period ranging from 2" to large 30 lb over 12" the configuration of both of these are without questions by far the most suitable in all aspects. Perhaps for certain applications such as powdering rice the largest I have are more suitable however these are still superior shapes both the mortars and pestles. Already tried aged(harder as they age) black peppercorns rice fennel walnuts ans and flax. Nothing jumps out the only granite I have I can say that about. I also have an even larger range of sizes 40 or so porcelain mortars and pestles. These are my new favorites. Packaging and included accessories are well thought out and perfectly complement the product. I was astounded at the perfect Packaging and the stacking feature I find a real plus. When stacked the bottom of the smaller mortar which is the bottom one is solid flat and ground extra smooth even with no felt with rounded edges to avoid scratching counters however 2 identical pads smaller but similar to honeycomb hot pads are included. These are some of the best thought out products that at 67 years of age I've ever purchased

This is as beautiful as it is functional. Easy to clean and really works great on both wet & dry items. (Garlic, basil, ginger & pepper corns) I would definitely purchase with pride as a gift 🎁

I am a big fan of granite, so I couldn't wait for it to arrive, but it was much nicer than I thought! It's easy to clean, holds alot of whatever you'd like to put in it and even has a make to sit it on and brushes to clean it with!

I am so far satisfied with the product. I haven’t had the opportunity to really use it properly. No issues with delivery, nothing was damaged. However, I am disappointed in not receiving any instructions for the extra items that come with it. There was a mention there are care instructions on the box, but I did not find anything.To the company: if you wish to have your items last for your customers, then including care instructions for all of the items is necessary. Otherwise, people who are not knowledgeable of how to care for it will ruin it and complain.I know I’m stating the obvious here, but that’s my point. Why should I have to.It would be nice to know if the additional items are dishwasher safe or not. How I can season my Mortar and Pestle properly. What happens if I get raw food on it and need to disinfect it. If it can’t be washed, how would I address this issue without ruining the product?

It arrived in good condition, and the mortar and pestle are absolutely beautiful and very sturdy. it was a Christmas gift and I would definitely buy it again, it is being used on a regular basis, at least once or twice a week.If you like to cook and use fresh ingredients, this is an item you don't want to miss.

Very good quality. Easy to clean, I find this product very useful in my kitchen. It came with 2 utensils and a no slip mat. Beautifully crafted as well.
