Great Range finder, for 4-5 years
Love Leupold range finders, quality and features are solid but I've been through 2 of them in the last 10 years. At their price points these should last a lifetime or a lot longer than 4-5 years. Each time they just stopped working and they are unable to repair them. While they offer a replacement with a discount on a current model as a favor I felt it is time to end 'leasing' their range finders and move to a brand that gives a lifetime guarantee.

The best ever rangefinder
It’s clear fast easy to read water proof and so beautifully made. It has a fog mode. It beeps. This range finder exceeds my expectations. And I’ve had 4 previous ones including Bushnell Nikon and Callaway. This is the best!

Leupold golf rangefinders have a design flaw
Leupold previously stood behind a lifetime warranty. They don’t do that anymore with their golf rangefinders. It will be a nice rangefinder for 3-4 years and then the red led readout that shows yardage will completely fade away. When I talked with customer service their was no way for them to repair that. I asked them if the new Gx-3c will have the same issue and they actually confirm that it most likely will since it is the same technology. My rangefinder has always been stored indoors and has never been dropped. Not one scratch on it..my suggestion would be to go with the bushnell…honestly think BBB should be notified since Leupold doesn’t disclose the eventual fading led.

Lifetime warranty does not exist - false advertising
Works great for about 6 months then display degrades and they will not repair or replace. They will try to shake you down for about 220 to replaces for "similar unit". You've been warned lifetime warranty isn't true per Leupold customer service rep
