Bottles of cold spring water are my guilty pleasure from the fridge - I know it's a bit of an indulgence but I love having a fridge full of bottles so I can grab one whenever I'm thirsty or heading out to work. Even though I steadfastly recycle them I've been more and more aware that my plastic usage is excessive, added to the shrink wrapped plastic bagging around 12 packs that can't even be recycled.I was searching Amazon for a greener alternative and found this and ordered 4 cases.Although I'm paying a bit more per bottle, they're a fantastic find. The water tastes great, arguably better than the supermarket bought multi packs which I've always had a feeling probably undergo some sort of treatment. The lid has a wider opening than traditional water bottles which is very satisfying to drink from and much easier to refill from filter taps at work (no spray down the sides!)They're pleasant to hold or carry with a bit of give in the structure (I find myself happily carrying one in a jacket pocket for hours where with a plastic bottle I'm always conscious of the creaking and cracking of the more brittle shape and dispose quickly), I love the minimalist white design, and a case comes in a neat white cardboard box so it's all recyclable and they stow neatly under my kitchen bar.
