Q: What size is the vacuum port?

I use a 27mm festool hose to attach to the Mirka Hand sander.

Q: does this work it 3M hook-it (Cubitron) sandpaper?

Yes, it works, but holds a little worse than the Mirka abranet.

Q: Does the block (or included hose adapter) provide a way to adjust the suction power?

No. Full on. I don’t think you’d need to adjust anything - more suction - less dust - better sanding.

Q: Does it go up on the sides for 90 degree sandind edges ?

The abrasive sheets grip the sander and can be moved around but are sized to fit flat on the sanding pad.
