Another hefty Zord for your collection.
The newest release in the Legacy Collection is the Ninja Megazord. Boy do I hope these are selling well enough, because I really want to get to at least the Turbo Megazord. But today I got my hands on the Ninja Megazord, as we continue through the first three seasons of Power Rangers. From the Megazord in Season 1, it transformed into the Thunderzord in Season 2. Now as we enter Season 3, we get an all new Zord, the Ninja Megazord. The Ninja Megazord is made up of, surprise surprise, five Zords that combine to make a Megazord. First up is the Ape Ninjazord. It looks like a man, but we are going with an ape to fit the animal theme. He has movement in his arms, with shoulders, elbows and wrists. More than we usually see in the Power Rangers Zords. He also comes with a pair of ninja-to swords. As per the directions, the swords can combine to form a staff type double blade. They stick together well when wielded that way. Finally, the swords can be pegged into the back for storage when not fighting. The Crane Ninjazord is a cute little thing. It looks like it was ripped right out of the show. This jet-like figure has some movement in the head. The wings sweep back, but mostly for creating the head of the Megazord.Blue Wolf Ninjazord is again ripped from the TV screen and brought to life. It has movement in the legs, both front and back, with elbow joints up front. The tail also moves up and down. The mouth can open and close in case someone needs some biting. The back legs are diecast and give the Wolf some heft. The Black Frog Ninjazord is giant compared to the rest of the figures. And funny enough, it is all in the legs. It has movement in the front legs and feet, the mouth opens, and the back legs can fly out to make him look like he is jumping. Finally the Yellow Bear Ninjazord. It has movement in the hips of all legs, and the mouth moves up and down. This one has the least movement, besides the crane, but the transformation is pretty great to change it into an arm.You build the Ninja Megazord from the ground up, just like in the show. The frog forms the legs and lower torso. Add the bear as the upper torso. The Red Ape folds up to become the right arm, with a cap over it's head to form the hand. The Blue Wolf folds up as the right arm, also wearing a cap to form the hand. And finally the crane folds into the head. The head has such great detail.Megazords are not known for having lots and lots of articulation. Usually no head movement, and this one follows that. Shoulder swing on both arms. There is no twist at the waist. The legs have a cool additional movement. Usually we only get forward and backward movement. This time around we get movement out to the sides. The feet also have a swivel to allow the feet to stay planted firmly on the ground. One of the big draws for this figure is the ability to form the Ninja Falcon Megazord (in the movie) or Ninja MegaFalconzord (in the show). Let's get confusing about that one. The box claims this is from Power Rangers The Movie, but clearly these figures are from the show.I knew the White Ninja Falconzord was big, but until I put it on the Ninjazord's back, I didn't know just how big it was. There are ports all over the Falconzord for attaching to figures. Unfortunately, what they did was select the weakest point for attachment, leaving the Falconzord in a very precarious position, where it can fall off during play. That kind of stinks! There is one last part of articulation. The neck of the Ninjazord rotates back, so it can look forward while it is flying with the Falconzord on it's back. This is a really nice Zord. It has lots of metal parts to give it heft. If you are a collector of the other Zords, you will not be disappointed. It stands about the same height as Megazord. Of course, the Thunderzord is giant, but it also cost twice as much. I guess if you add in the cost of the Falconzord, Ninjazord gives it a run for it's money.

Pricey, but worth it.
My 9 year old son absolutely loves this toy. From my perspective, the quality of this product makes it live up to the expectations set by its pricetag. The toy can be assembled and dis-assembled repeatedly without worrying about it breaking because of how sturdy and well designed it is. It reminds me of well built toys from the past, where it was implicit that a toy could be used without fear of it falling apart easily.

Quite possibly the best Legacy Megazord to date.
Each individual zord has its own various forms of articulation. The mouths of the wolf, frog and bear open. Wolf and Frog have individual leg and knee articulation. Frog has ankle articulation. The ape's legs come apart and even has its sword/staff weapon, which came come apart as swords, or be put together as a staff. Megazord is also poseable in its assembled form. The Ape's leg articulation can simulate an elbow joint in Megazord form, while the Frog's legs can allow you to pose your megazord in various action stances. The downside is how it connects with the falconzord. It's meant to be a simple "snap into place" formation, which works fine when you can line the zords up properly. The falcon holds in place, for the most part, provided you have it properly connected. The problems arise when you try to move the megazord's arms with the falcon on, where the bear's legs will move when you try to move the arm, detaching the falcon in the process.

Great buy! High quality and super fun!
I bought this Megazord for my son as a birthday gift and he absolutely loves it! It is super high quality and easy enough to transform, even for a five year old! I had an issue with the shipping and accidentally received the incorrect order at first, but the selller contacted me immediately and sent me the correct toy few days later. I’m very pleased with the toy and the costumer service I received.

4/5 zords are great
The ape zord is kind of tough keeping the back closed nice and tight. Every other zord is great, though! The frog is super cool, and this Megazord stands on it's own really well. Bought it with the Legacy Falconzord, which is available on Amazon as well as of 3/17/2020.

Amazing Ninja Megazord!
An amazing Power Rangers Ninja Megazord, great sculpt, fantastic paintjob and even the red arm ARTICULATES! That's right, rarely Power Ranger Megazords get any articulation; yet this one had soooooo many. The arm(elbow bend), the head, legs, semi knee joint and feet.Another cool thing is that the wolf, frog and bear can open their mouths! The Legacy Falconzord (sold separately) can also easily combine in the back to form the wings. My only small issue is that if you move the arms up and down, the bear chest (arms) move along with it sometimes and you may need to screw it on a bit tighter.
