Works well for what I do.

Portable & Sturdy
This table clamp is excellent. I've had it for a few years now, and with moderate use, I can confidently say it has held up well. I love its portability, and the ball-and-socket mechanism holds extremely well. The rubber covers on the clamp heads are a nice touch, preventing scratches on projects. Overall, it's a great design and well worth the purchase if you're looking for something portable and sturdy.

Don’t buy this.
Don’t buy this. The ball doesn’t stay in place and as soon as it falls out, it takes a lot of time and patience to get it back in, but there’s no guarantee it won’t fall right back out. Unfortunately, I can’t return it because I bought it early for a Christmas present and we got it set up, but it didn’t get used for a couple of months. There’s literally nothing I can do with it except recycle it.

Clamps to most anything versus just a smooth thin surface like suction type bases.
So far very happy with this vise. Heavier duty than I expected! I needed one for years for light work!

Not awesome, but not expensive.
First look, and it's every bit of a $15 desktop vice. That's the positive.First attempt at use and the top ball pivot refused to move after loosening the ball release. Spray a small amount of break free, and it finally released. When unscrewing the vice head to open it, it would bind every full turn. Applied a little Super-lube silicone and it's better.I did not expect amazing engineering, and I was not surprised by what was sent.

Not as discribed
You would expect a vice mounted on a pivot ball to be adjustable to difrent angles . It looks to be ajustable however when I un packed it I found it jamed in a unusable position in order for it to fit in the box . I losend the locking leverage and tried to move it . Not happening .seeing as it is useless the way it came I took it apart had to use a soft mallet to knock it lose . The ball portion is not smooth it has casting ridges that should have been ground off the socket area also had sharp casting edges and slag left from the casting there is no surface to rotate agents . I have cleaned it up and at least got it to a point where it can be used as a stanary vise not why a brought it . The system to tilt it is pretty much useless .
