I use this in various sets of lockers in gym, lockers etc. When not certain the shape and size of the locker, you can try this one, and turn the cable round several times to help lock it in place. The one place that I use more often has a gap in the locker, which means a locker with the big metal part would be better, I guess something like 10-15mm diameter? With this padlock, I round the cable several times to stop the locker "turn" part not to turn (and open). By force, they can still push or squeeze the cable, but might as well get a big cutter to slice it. All they find is smelly socks etc. :) (though sentimental value...!!)

Very hard to tell where the numbers should line up.We simply scratch a couple of lines to make it visible.

Used 3 times and steel cord snapped at the base, just by pulling. Not a great security featureThrown the second one away

Does the purpose It’s only a deterrent for amateurs , if they really want it pliers would open it.

Great lock for locking something which a conventional lock can't reach or bend past. It's flexible cord allows you to maneuver the cord around a tricky bend. The release button is big and has a great feel. I used my lock to lock the lid of my bins.

When this lock arrived with the settings 000 there isn't a marker to show what to align the three x 000 so I had to fiddle about and really struggled to find the position. I found where the three x 000 were aligned but I still had to jiggle the numbers about to open it, there just isn't any leeway!Once I opened it I reset the combination to a simple 123 to test it, I know where I aligned them but the same as the three 000 it wouldn't again open. I have jiggled again and again and it eventually opened. I closed again, moved all he numbers, reset to 123again to open and again it won't open, I have got to the point I can't jiggle any longer, it simply isn't opening and I know its the correct combination.Over all, it feels clunky to set, the button is awkward to press and the number alignment to open just isn't right, it feels like it's a lock that's not been used for years with not oil in it and struggling to open.
