Great for running!
I bought this to replace my Garmin Vivosport. I have had no issues. My vivosport was touchscreen, I thought I'd miss that. I don't miss it at all and it's actually nice not accidentally starting an activity when the water runs over it in the shower or something grazes it. The GPS is extremely accurate. The buttons are pretty easy to figure out. Obviously you want to orient yourself before an activity. I have a small wrist so I was a little concerned that the watch would look huge. It DOES have a lot larger face than my vivosport but it looks more like a traditional watch and doesn't feel big at all. It almost feels lighter, although I'm not sure that's possible. 🤔

Best Run Trackers
Best run trackers for all runners, beginners or avid runners, Garmin comes with free running coach programs, which will help gauge your fitness level, and help you achieve your PB goals. It can also tell you your VO2Max after you’ve run your base run. Unlike other smart watches, Garmin has its own built-in GPS, so it is more accurate with your pace and speed!

Great watch! earbuds not so much.
The watch is outstanding! It is within 2/10ths to my phone for my runs. The only thing i would say for improvement is a blood pressure monitor, and not make it so challenging to get the weather app to work. The earbuds that came with i could do without. The sound quality is mediocre at best. there is no bass, the quality just is not there to be selling with a garmin watch.

Ok but tiny
Very small watch but never dies so thats cool. The garmin app is what makes this a decent buy.

Excellent for XC High Schoolers
I am so very glad I chose this watch and not a cheaper Fitbit Versa for my rising 10th grader. I have the Versa and there is no comparison. This is a watch for running. It has made her a better runner. She has not yet figured out all the bells and whistles but the GPS actually works (looking at you Versa). And the color is great for her age.

Great Value if it Worked
This is my third Garmin in 10 years. It has a TON of features and for the price, a great value. Seemed like a no brainer. Unfortunately, device freezes when using the interval feature. This is apparently a known issue to Garmin. Would have been nice to know in the online troubleshooting guide when I wasted a ton of time researching the issue. Customer service sent a replacement but device not delivered when promised with no updates in the last three days. They did, however, send me a band in a mismatched color. Band only useful with functioning Garmin otherwise it's just a sundial on my wrist.Simple functions like changing data field layout is ridiculously complicated and ultimately did not work. Too many screens / confirms for simple functions and if you hit the wrong one, start over. Not sure why you can't just do the layout in the app and update watch. Problem solved. Because of the clunky interface, the music control feature is useless. I get it, it's not a music player. Fine. But if you're going to have the feature and charge extra for it, it should work.Ultimately, I've wasted too much time on something that should make training easier, not frustrating. Extremely disappointed. Returning device.
