Worth it
I had bought one similar to this one. It worked but the cable that connected to thermistor and main cable to the machine was much too short on the original one. This one is much longer and allowed me to hide the connections in the wire chain. I love the spring around the end of the cable. I love Harding an add bit of protection against stressing the wires or the insulation getting cut or burnt. If you have a hotend this threads into I would recommend it. I have a Aquila S2 that I used this on. It will work on the stock hot end as well as a Haldis 3D Red Lizard Q1 V6 Hotend upgrade.

1,000 Times Yes!
Absolutely perfect replacement for the glass bead thermistor that came with my Voxelab Aquila. It comes with a male JST connector, but... the installed connector for the thermistor is male...soo...there I would have to do more cutting and splicing to utilize the JST connector. My only suggestion, include a male and female JST connector or leave the free and tinned. It works GREAT and my thermals are 100% consistent now. This makes way more sense than using the bead anyhow. You're getting full contact with the thermistor and the heatblock.

Works on Ender 3
Ender 3 thermistor wire broke and I scoured around to find what was a smart move. Several other "bundles" had serious QC problems. This seemed sensible.Only thing is, that there may be something with thread compatibility or the block on the printer isn't threaded very far. Needless to say I turned till it was ALMOST fully seated, but I got scared it was gonna break on me.Turned machine on, and both temps read the same. Worked great so far.

Consistently unusable
After connecting it wouldn't display any correct temperature and shortly after would cause an error pop up on my printer. Attempted to swap leads, changed the connector, and even installed into another printer and it still gave the same error. Waste of money, dont bother buying this product.

Easy Install, but had Fluctuating Hot End Temperatures.
I installed this thermistor on my Ender 2 3D printer to replace the stock one, and the install process was fairly painless. Just screw the thermistor in where the old retaining screw was. Once I had it installed, I performed a PID tune and started a print. Where the stock thermistor held a steady temperature reading on the hot end, this thermistor was reading +/- 3 degrees. While I was concerned by the fluctuations, they had no observable effect on any of my 3D prints.

Works great with my Ender3 V2
This Thermistor was a great replacement for the cheap glass bead thermistors that I have tryed in the past that didn't last more then a week or two. My only complaint would be that the supplied cable could have been 2 inches longer and it would have been perfect! On the other hand, I did NOT have an issue using it with the original fan shroud.

I recently try several types of thermistors
I try this screw thermistor and the 3mm cartridge thermistor and a few others due to my youngest son wanting to start printing too. The glass tipped fragile wire thermistors have gotten me in some trouble several times and I want to make some things easier for him. They work well if and in most heat blocks, decent fit in most. More expensive but less attention to care and installation. Balanced
