Do it yourself
Was an exact. Saw complaints of bad lcd and rattle vibrations and speakers. This install is more than it seems you need to have the phone sealer and a couple replacements for stickers to seal the speaker and vibrator. Yes this is a diy repair there are delicate components that can get damaged while doing the replacement. fit screws are not threaded but thatβs for a tighter grab. Would highly recommended watching multiple tutorials before attempting and overall fairly easy replacement

Fantastic Product
A phone screen review typically assesses the display's quality, brightness, color accuracy, and responsiveness. Key factors to consider include:- *Display Size and Resolution*: A larger, high-resolution screen can enhance the viewing experience.- *Brightness and Color Accuracy*: A bright display with accurate colors is essential for outdoor use and visual quality.- *Screen Type*: Options include LCD, OLED, or AMOLED, each with its strengths and weaknesses.- *Durability*: Screen protection, such as Gorilla Glass, can impact the phone's longevity.

DIY was very easy... didn't last too long
The media could not be loaded. Update... Screen worked for about a month and then stopped working (just after the return deadline, of course). Not sure how to get replacement at this time. Seller may make right, but I have not contacted them yet. Also, the screen protector is glass and cracked quickly.Original post... I always wondered how the little kiosks at the mall could fix a broken screen on a phone so easily. After watching the videos online, I decided to get this replacement screen and do it myself. It was a piece of cake! The only issue is you need to have patience (and a heat gun helps too).If you like fixing things yourself, this is a very nice screen. It helps to get the screen with the frame (it was only a dollar more and made replacement a breeze as it was just putting the small parts from inside the phone into the new frame and screen assembly). It also came with a very nice screen protector.I recommend this to anyone that wants to have a mini adventure (and of course has a cracked screen on an A12 phone).

Double check your part number! (Small modification needed)
After comparing the new screen to the old one everything looked to be okay. I disassembled my phone and began to transfer all components to the new shell. Once everything was transferred I powered up the phone to make sure it would come on and that the touch screen was working properly before I completely put the phone back together. One thing I noticed it that the vibration no longer worked. I double and triple checked the contact points for the vibrator pod and it looked fine. I wonder does it have anything to do with the screen model? The screen looks great and the touch screen is clear and bright, maybe even brighter then the oem one. ππ½***UPDATE*** so I took the phone a part again because the screen was showing red lines on the screen. I took the inside cover off and checked the main plug going to the screen. I unplugged the harness and removed the vibrating device. After I plugged the screen back in it came right back on so I figured maybe I didn't snap it in all the way when I first installed the screen. The vibration still was not working so I decided while I was in the phone I was going to try a few little experiments with the contact points of the vibrator device and the circuit board. After trying putting small stripe of foam tape under the connector ribbon I reinstalled the housing a WHATDIA KNOW! IT VIBRATES! LOL! I guess the housing is just a tad too big for the circuitry in the phone and was keeping the contact from firmly being pressed together. After fixing that problem I also added a small piece of foam tape to the vibration device housing , which gave it a solid feel to the vibration feature. So all in all, it's all fixed. The screen works fine, the vibration feature is working. Just a small adjustment to the housing with some foam tape and it all works good ππΎ

Almost complete kit for Samsung A12 screen replacement
I recently dropped my phone in the parking lot and shattered the screen of my Samsung Galaxy A12. It is a 5 year old phone and I just wanted to see if I have DIY the screen change. Watched a few YouTube videos on the topic and found it to be a bit complicated but possible with the right tools. I thought if I am able to fix the screen I will continue using the 5-year old phone or it will be an experience and I will get a new phone. Thanks for this screen replacement kit with frame I can continue using the phone. No need to spend $$$s to buy a new phone. The kit is complete with all the tools required including 3 magnetic screw drivers, wedges to pry the case open and remove the battery, and two sticks which help opening up the assembly well. The kit is intuitive to use and the tools are color coded so it is easy to know exactly which screwdriver to use for the right set of screws. As a bonus it comes with a tempered glass screen protector which I really liked.I wish the blue wedges they provide is slightly tougher and bigger than a guitar pluck it would make prying the battery open a lot easier. Other than that this is a perfect kit for even the beginner to disassemble the Samsung A12, change the screen and put it back together.
