D.H. Knowing that he may never fulfill his wife's needs, Sir Chatterley grants permission for Lady Chatterley to take a lover. But that lover must be from the upper class of society. This arrangement is soon challenged when Lady Chatterley meets Oliver (Nicholas Clay Excalibur, Evil Under the Sun), a handsome and virile gamekeeper.

Loved it!
I've been watching this version of the movie on Tubi. It is the best one But I simply had to have a copy for myself in case it came off Tubi. This is a classic... the music is beautiful and the passion is there! Thanks D. H. LAWRENCE!

Sylvia Kristel movie
Very good first Sylvia Kristel movie in the Lady Chatterley series. This follows the 1977 Young Lady Chatterley with Harlee McBride.

I only rate it four stars simply because of the above issue. It has nothing to do with the movie, the seller, or anything else for that matter.The movie arrived well before the listed arrival date and I am happy for that, five stars there.The movie itself is quite a steamy classic and it looks great on blu- ray, beautiful cinematography and so on snarf, snarf...While Sylvia Kristel is beautiful and does a fine job being the horny housewife with a dead penis at home... Nicholas Clay's soaped up rump is why most of us will never fall for Christian Grey or his ilk. Enjoy the sudsy rump! :D

I'd seen this video in a movie years ago and the video I received was a much clearer then the movie I had watch.

updating my previous review
Lady Chatterleys Lover is a truly great remake of the original movie however, I am hard of hearing and the DVD has NO closed caption! Very frustrating and I wish that had been mentioned in the description before I purchased it. Now I have a DVD that I can only watch, not hear or read subtitles. I had been looking forward to receiving it, now just very disappointed.As of yesterday 3/2/2023, the whole DVD is corrupted and no longer works. I am going to look if I can find it elsewhere, as I very much want it to add to the collection I have. Really an awful experience.

Has aged very well as a period film.
This is a good period piece film with good scenery and acting. This film stands up over the years.

This movie is very good well done in every respect. In fact the whole series of Lady Chatterly films are worth the purchase price.
