Worked exactly as I needed
I needed a way to replace a Schrader valve on a system I had just repaired. This worked perfect. No loss of charge. Very easy to use. This tool is a huge time saver for those service valves that decide to leak after taking the hose couplers off after a service or repair.

It's a great concept BUT....
I bought this item after finding what my issue was with the car and knowing I could totally fix it myself instead of taking it into the shop. I have gown up fixing most of my vehicles' issues and I am very handy with tools.Having said that I can tell you this tool is a great concept BUT based on my experience it has 2 MAJOR flows.1) I replaced the low pressure one and It is easy to use the tool and super easy to unscrew the valve core from it's housing... THAT's when the fun stats... getting the valve core completely out was major PAIN. Why? because the tools should be designed to hold it firmly once the valve is unscrewed, instead you have to hope that when you are pulling the stick out the valve sticks to it and doesn't fall back in the housing... it took me about 1 hour and A LOT of extremely careful adjustments to the end of the stick with a pair of pliers (doing it carefully in order to not to break the end of the stick) until it was tight enough to go all the way in and hold the valve so I could pull it out. IT WAS A PAIN!!An easy design fix would've been to add a little magnet to the end of the stick so the valve sticks to it and you can pull it in just a few seconds after unscrewing it out of it's housing.2) After I was able to replace the low pressure one I moved to the high pressure one... same thing!!!! so frustrating... I tried everything... UNTIL I discovered that the valve core itself was wider than the actual tool... so THERE WAS SIMPLY NO WAY for me to get the high pressure valve out with this tool... I ended up taking it to my mechanic and using his vaccum tool in order to replace the hight pressure one.3) After all this just to find out that the kit DOES include the high pressure valve (for the record, I checked fitment before buying and it stated that it fit and had everything for my vehicle)Ended up going to 3 stores trying to find the right valve core... finally the 3rd one had a kit and purchased it there.again, great concept... but it's not the best option.

Does Not Work on a BMW R1234 Valve
Not the Seller's fault, but the Schrader valve remover tool does not work for BMW Schrader valves. BMW AC Schrader valve pin tip is too large to allow the tool reach down to the threaded portion of the pin assembly...Ugh.Other than that, this kit does works.

Hit or miss
The construction is shoddy. The high side valve won't open all the way, leaving the ball slightly in the path of the extractor causing the core to drop repeatedly. As for the tips, they don't hold onto the core the way the Mastercool does. Instead of a clip that grabs the center-pin of the valve-core, you are expected to use some grease to get the core to stick to the tip. Not only does it not work reliably, it can cause contamination. Furthermore, the tips are not replaceable and seem weak enough to wear out or break. Especially if you squeeze the ends together to create a tight fit onto the valve-core and then later have to expand them to accommodate a thicker valve-core (there are small variations in cores - I measured the flat of some standard cores as 0.072" and others as 0.078"). I believe the Mastercool has a patent on the unique tip, which is replaceable and has a positive grabbing action (and costs a lot more), so this may save you the one time you need it. Just don't rely on it as a daily driver if you replace cores often.

Rare product - does exactly what it states!
The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical this could replace the shrader valves (high and low) in a 2016 Nissan Versa Note without depressurizing the system. But watch my video to see just how easy it was. Car blows 32* F now after swapping valves and recharging the system.

1st time using
I liked this idea. I had a similar issue as another customer and had trouble with getting the "removed" valve core out of this tool without removing the tool itself. It was sitting in the tool and loose after I unscrewed it from the schrader valve. Was able to use a very small screwdriver to get it out of the tool. I will buy a small "pick" set to be able to do this with less trouble. I like that I did not have to empty the refrigerant in system to change the leaking core valve. I don't think that I would use the supplied valve cores though. I went with a GM part instead.
