Osprey Aether Plus 70L Men's Backpacking Backpack, Black, S/M

I'm 5'11", 150 lbs., and found that the L/XL size fits well. The things I like best about this pack are (1) the removable day pack, (2) comfortable fit, (3) lots of pockets for storage, (4) easy-access side pockets for water bottles, and (4) built-in rain fly. The quality is good, and the weight of the pack seems fine to me. I carry the BV450 bear cannister and it fits fine in this 70L pack. I'm able to get all of my gear, food and water into this pack for trips up to five days. My fully loaded pack with food for 5 days and 3 quarts of water weighs 38 lbs. This pack handles the weight quite well and feels very comfortable. I also own a Gegory Boltoro 75L pack which I like, but it's wearying out. The Boltoro has a little more space in the main compartment, but other than that, I like the Osprey better because of the more-comfortable fit, better day pack, and easy-access water bottle pockets. I highly recommend this Osprey backpack.

I use this backpack about 3 to 4 times a year if not more. I have no real complaints about it yet needs my needs perfectly definitely has a lot of storage space. If I wanted a better experience I'd probably just have to get a singular large pouch backpack.I love the style, it weighs just fine, the straps are infinitely adjustable. I bought osprey Aether 70 plus hiking back pack because I am an avid camping enthusiast. I am 5'10" and weighs around 180 lbs. This fits me perfectly in size large/Xtra large! Love the material and built quality. It has an internal frame construction with so many adjustble options. I love the extra storage on top which can used as a day pack when you are going for a day hike or cruising around the city. Room for practically everything and makes the backpack feel weightless. It comes with a rain cover as well at a price and guarantee that can't be beaten!! Once I realized the quality and prestige of this brand, I will never go back and buy anything else other than Osprey ever again. I have so many of their products. I guess you get what you pay for even though this is very affordable considering the alternatives and what they offer. Trust me. I love quality items and this is it!! Your back will thank you and your camping buddies will be envious! One of my best purchases.

When you adjust it properly it is easier to wear it than it actually is. A lot of space and pockets, I bought it thinking better to have space and don't use it than need a space in your backpack and don't have it. I really like small backpack because I can put all the food in it and hang it on the tree that bears don't came in camp..

My fifth backpack and by far my best I have purchased. Quality and functionality is great. Carries weight better than others I have had.

A gift for our Grandsons 18th birthday. An avid backpacker who will use this for several years. I have a smaller version and traveled well with it. Comfortable, lots of space to accommodate several days out.

As a professional photographer it is perfect for my needs which are not minimal - distributes the weight of my equipment amazingly well. Very difficult to find products these days where you "feel the quality." Zipper broke and Osprey replaced with a new pack. Customer forever.
