I'll never use another iron again - this is a little bundle of magic!!!!First used this when we stayed in an Airbnb on holiday, and I just had to have one!Had it for eight months now, and it's the best Iron I've ever used - and I've had plenty, of all types, weights, and top brands over past 40+ years!This little beauty, with it's light weight compact design delivers on power, versatility, glide, and packs a punch with steam when needed. From silks to linen and denim, I've ironed everything you can imagine, and the lightweight sleek design makes for a much faster job of the thankless task.Would highly recommend it... and, we've now got family converted and loving it too!

Well, what can i say. I have never purchased an electrical item from amazon before, however living where i do and requiring an iron urgently to iron my tunics , i had no choice.So, i viewed steam irons on amazon and read all the reviews and this iron came out tops.For me struggling with arthritic wrist and phalageal joints, this iron is:Very light to handleIt irons really well and hot enough for my thick tunics.You can see the water level very clearly.The only downside is the cable is a little short, however as i have to attach into an extension cable anyway, it s not a big issue for me.I would most deffinatley recommend this iron, it truely is a little gem.Best iron ive ever had in last 33 years!!! Well done phillips!!!

Good product and delivery on time

Proved a winner so far. Lightweight, easily adjustable, good steam and effective at its job.

I bought this iron to replace my previous Philips steam iron. It is lightweight and is not heavy with a full tank of water. When filling the tank you can see it filling but it is not clear, so you have to watch it or it will spill out. The sole plate is slightly smaller than my last iron, but it has made no difference to the ironing results. The lead is slightly shorter than my last lead, but the old iron lead was constantly get twisted up, this lead has not got twisted whilst ironing, so a definite positive for me. The lead is attached to the iron with a moveable ball, so when you are ironing the ball allows the lead to drop so it does not get in the way of your wrist. There has been a couple of water drops during ironing, but these have not been a problem. I have found that I have had to set the temperature slightly higher to get the results I want, but with everything new it is working out how it works best for you.This is not a small iron and I would not describe it as a travel ironI do not like ironing, but I am happy with my new iron and the results

Having tried all (yes really) the major brands except this one over 50+ years of ironing I can honestly say that this little iron (the soleplate is much smaller than I was expecting but no less efficient) is incredible. It just irons so beautifully and easily. As other reviewers have mentioned the cord is far too short but luckily I am able to use it very close to a socket so haven't really encountered any problems. Ironing the bedding (sheets etc) takes a little longer purely down to the size of the iron but it still does a really good job. Highly recommended (make sure you have a nearby socket or you will need an extension lead).

A few things to not, the cable is really short, my previous one was at least 0.5m longer, wish I had checked.The water tank is way too small and empties rather quickly.The iron itself is actually really light, don't know if its a good thing or bad.Our previous iron was continuously getting scorched, now I don’t know if that was getting too hot because sometimes I feel like this doesn't get hot enough, I am convinced its the former.Well, in summary, its irons really well, need to continuously fill for large pile of ironing, but its really easy to iron with as its light. Only other minor criticism would be that my hand sometimes catches on the dial, but that’s a minor really.Please consider these points when buying.
