A sanded paper alternative
I tried the Sand Grain for the first time and I'm still getting used to it. I sense that it works best when pan pastel is applied first as an under coat. For those who use a lot of layers, this is pretty good. I'm still testing it out to see if I prefer this over Mi-Tientes paper.

Over priced
Great for textured drawing and pastel practice. However I should have checked the price at other art stores. Blicks has it for 7 bucks.

Product defective/warped
Reported this defect to amazon when trying to return the item via chat service. They informed me the company sending this product would contact me within 3 days which still has not happened. I've put bricks/ weights on the product to try and flatten the pages which as a consumer I shouldn't be required to do. This is the first time this has happened and I'm very disappointed.

Not sandpaper-like whatsoever
Texture is quite smooth, not sandpaper-like. It’s a very misleading title and description. Only takes a couple of layers of pastel before it just smears. There are a couple of reviews saying it worked well, but the photos don’t back that up on my opinion.
