They look good! I have another guitar with the standard plastic pickup ring, and I cracked it when I righted it to hard. These are metal and won’t crack. They are thinner than standard rings, but look good.

These are inexpensive and are far better than plastic. Holes are drilled perfectly and fit my EMG pickups exactly. Never going back to plastic when these exist for the same $.

Fit nicely... finish could be a little better, but looks ok on my guitar.

These worked fine with passive pickups but when I made a conversion to active pickups, they produced a lot of static.

So yeah they’re metal… some information for the company who sells these is that primer is your friend… I don’t care how good your paint is, it’s not going to stick to bare metal, at least for long anyways, which is why they wrap them individually in protective styrofoam when shipped but fear not, the second you touch them the paint will begin to chip off due to said lack of painting knowledge. I’m fine though, I have the material, knowledge and time to repaint them, however if you don’t, then go another route as these will guaranteed look like crap within a few days. Video shows about 5 seconds with a few swipes of sandpaper reveals bare metal under the paint.
