works with led
It says "incandescent only" on the switch but the advertising says will work with leds. It does work but only dimmable leds . Regular leds will flicker. Used it to convert an old halogen floor lamp to led. Had to cut a hole in the side of 2" tube to get the old switch out, the pipe would not unscrew. Made a new cover for the hole and to mount the switch. Everything worked out OK.

Ordered this as a direct replacement for a faulty dimmer switch in a lamp. Fit was perfect and it worked flawlessly.

Didn’t work at all.
Retrofitted it into a lamp that has two bulbs. High quality GE Relax HD LED bulbs started to flicker at max brightness within a few days.

Just works.
I took a lamp that was greatly unloved because it had one of those touch sensors in it. Because of the arid environment we live in, static electricity is a non-stop annoyance. The lamp was just a pain and relegated to a shelf in the back of the house for 25+ years. On a whim, I ordered this switch and removed the touch sensor. I had to drill a hole to install this switch, but that's fine. The lamp now lives in the living room leading a meaningful and productive life doing what lamps are supposed to do - lighting up people's lives.

True to its description as a full range dimmer.
I have been looking for a full range dimmer to use with a steam punk style, water valve, for a lamp I am building. I use a normal on/off switch for the lamp, but i wanted to add a dimmer switch. I have been looking for a small rotary dimmer but all i was finding was on/low/high switches until this one. i reached out to the seller with the question of full range and they responded quickly. They confirmed it was full range and that is was not a on/low/high dimmer switch, so i bought 2 of them. These switches were exactly that, and i am extremely happy with the switches and the seller. Items have worked, and are as described. This has opened up new ideas for steam punk style fixtures and i think I'm positive i will be purchasing more of these in the future.
