Mine is not charging with the sleeve on, how can I solve this?

You need to make sure the side labeled ‘magnetic’ is aligned with the flat side of the pencil. You need to be careful as the silicone can twist a bit and not line up correctly. If it doesn’t start charging, I have luck with taking off the end cap then if it’s still not charging, I stretch the silicone as far down the Pencil as it can, and then it’ll start charging. At that point, I can slide the end cap back on.

Is there a case that doesn’t have the cutouts for double tap?

You could add a little silicone sealer to the double tap hole if you don’t mind going without the double tap.

I don’t think so. I got this for my second gen and it fit that one. The first gen is longer.

I get the case about half way on and it doesn’t go down anymore. Any tips on putting it on the Apple Pencil?

Its kind of tricky! But its doable! Try to slide the Apple Pencil gently and softly, don’t rush ir because it won’t go in! Make sure the Pencil its clean!
