Game changer for small workshops
I've added multiple mobile stands, all 2550's to regain floor space, and allow me to roll out tools to work outside (until I can afford a good dust collection solution.) I've currently got one for my planer, drill press, and sander. I'll likely add another for my table saw, to increase mobility, right now it's only got two wheels to be tipped and moved.Assembly was easy, and the learning curve was not difficult. By the third one, I had the assembly time down from 25 minutes to about 10. When measuring the base you'll be mobilizing, double check which kit will work best for size and weight. The 4 wheel 2550 was my choice, just in case I upgrade any machines, or add the planer I'm shopping. The foot pedal bushings are the hardest part, but after the third one, I was a pro. There's not really a good tool other than a small screwdriver, and a little luck/patience. I'm most excited because now clean up and re-arranging based on the project will go faster than before. I chose the BORA because I already have their flip top miter station, and like it, so it was an easy choice. The kit to mobilize my wooden work bench is similar in that the brackets and locking wheels are the same as the ones in the 2550 kit.

Just Awesome
I replaced my Shop Fox base because it did not allow 360-degree movements. This base easily handles my Grizzly cabinet saw, which weighs about 550 lbs. It glides too easily, and I need to keep it from running away from me. Once I drop the wheels, the saw stays in place. It makes it really easy to move the saw out of the garage and under my pop-up tent. It does not fit perfectly, and I need to put a piece of wood in it to make it all sung, but I have had no issues with it. I wish I would have bought this sooner.

Wheels do not stay in mobile position
The media could not be loaded. Very disappointed in this item. I tried to set up the base for a jointer weighing about 380 lbs, well within the advertised weight limit. The wheels are not able to lock up in the rolling position despite several attempts at adjustment. As others have mentioned, the included instructions are quite poor. It seems like the cam has the wrong diameter to allow it to lock down on the wheel support and the U channel shape of the wheel support limits how far the cam lever can be depressed to lift the base, making the wheel immediately pop back into the stationary position and making the base useless for its intended purpose. It does not work as a mobile base at all. I may have gotten incorrect parts for a different size base in my package. I was able to fit a spacer in between the wheel support and the cam to at least temporarily fix this problem, as pictured. Either the design of this base is quite poor or quality control of packaging is lacking--either way, this was a poor value purchase, especially at this price point. I would not recommend this item.

Handy for tight spaces
I bought this swivel mobile base to make it easier to move a heavy power tool around in a small space. Once done it works well, the problem is lifting the power tool onto, and into the base. The big plus is being able to spin a heavy power tool 360 degrees to maneuver in limited space. The other advantage is price. Other brands with the same agility cost much more but are heavier duty and the Bora is a bit tinny compared to the more expensive brands. But the Bora setup is stable once the power tool is set in the base.

great base for my bandsaw
I have a small garage woodshop, everything is on wheels. This is a very sturdy base I use on my bandsaw. I live in an environment that can get 36" of snow on a weekend. I love being able to move everything and squeeze my car into the garage. This base with the help of a couple 2x4s, keeps my bandsaw mobile and not tippy. It's a little pricey, but well worth the money. I have a pricey bandsaw, I want to safely move it quickly.

Makes working in a small shop bearable
This is an outstanding product. I put it under a Delta tablesaw that had three wheels. The three wheel setup was horrid and made moving the saw a massive pain. I can now quickly move the saw into place, make a cut or several, then quickly move it out of the way so I can work with another tool or do some assembly in the small 10 x 16 space I have. It was absolutely the correct move to purchase the base with 4 movable wheels. I would but this again without question. The assembly instructions could be improved a bit but still only took about an hour to assemble around the base of the saw. Did it by myself. Just made sure to have the saw up on some 2x4 stock before putting the base together around the saw.

Great mobile base
I really like these mobile tool bases and have 4 of them. Works great roll it when I need it then roll it back out of the way when not using it.

Castors won't stay in down position
The media could not be loaded. The wheels will not stay in the down position. The slightest downward force will make the wheels pop up. I sent the attached video to Bora customer support. They agreed that there is a problem and issued a warranty claim number. Unfortunately, the replacement parts will not be available until July. As Amazon allows only 30 days to return an item, they said to go ahead and return the unit to Amazon to get a refund. This problem was reported by another customer just a week ago. It appears as though there was a design change to the foot lever and/or the swivel plate. The result is that the foot lever cannot be pressed down far enough to keep the castor locked in the down position.I was really looking forward to using this mobile base, as I now have to slide a 300 lb. tool around with brute force. On a positive note, I have to say that Bora customer support was easy to contact online and they gave a prompt reply, but the 3 month lead time for replacement parts negated all that.
