Q: Will this work in steering and tilt and trim units?

Per the noted applications on the Green Marine bottle it states that it will work for the items you have mentioned (Steering / Trim and Tilt) however I would highly suggest contacting or looking into the manual for your Steering system and/or Trim and Tilt system for specifically approved fluid recommendations. Q: Can it be mixed with regular fluid?

Not sure what you mean by “regular” fluid... Green Marine is vegetable oil based. I would advise to drain as much “regular” fluid out of the reservoir prior to adding the Green Marine. I can’t say for sure if mixing the two will have any negative effects. You don’t want to have an issue with the fluids reacting with one another and possibly clogging up the intake screens and valves within the pump assembly. This would be one bottle per pump. Generally you will only have a few ounces left over after filling one pump and it is not enough to fill another. Simply keep the left over just in case you need it down the road. Rich @ Hydrilla Gear 954-917-0634
