Liquor Quik Super-Kleer KC 2-Part Finings - Pack of 5

Have discovered this to clear my wine batches. This is effective and works rather quickly. Easy to use. You may have to remove about 3-4 oz. from the carboy before adding, if you filled it up to the neck.

Not nearly as good as turbo clear but Amazon doesn’t sell turbo clear. Does a ok job of clearing but not as clear as turbo clear

Cleared up my wines in a day. At the point I used it I've already used pectic enzyme and bentonite, but still a thick mouth feel and a haze I couldn't see threw. After overnight with this stuff in the bottles, both 1 gallon batches and 6 gallon batches, the wine is clear and I can see to the other side no issues. Even the dark blackberry wine with it's super dark color could be seen threw when shining a light.Don't forget to follow instructions. It says use one step 1, then wait before using step 2. There has to be a reason for it, but I followed directions and it worked perfect.Also, no noticable taste after a few weeks of this being in the bottles. Not sure about the day after, didn't sample it then.

I used liquor quick 2 part clearing agent to clear up some wine i made with dady yeast. It cleared it right up and gave it a nice professional look. The value is great in the five pack. Will use again and will recommend.

And this 5 pack was a great deal too. But I would like to find out more the science of how it works. And about anybody actually using it for their beer brewing. And also, since it is derived from shell fish, whether there should be a warning in case anybody has a shell fish allergy.

Used a few of these now. Overall they seem to work; however, it’s not the best clearing solution I’ve ever used.
