Close battery cover on camera after plugging in
It works great.I did almost send this back as I thought it didn’t work, but that was only because I didn’t realise that I had to close the battery flap on my camera for it to work.Great piece of kit.

Works as expected
This works just great! Granted there are no great directions, but honestly you don’t need them. I apologize in advance for my words here, but the bad reviews are simply people who aren’t using common sense or reading the directions that came with your camera! This power pack works just fine for my Canon Rebel T7, and it helped me get really long exposures without running my batteries down. I really like this power adapter.

Excellent quality - charges well without overheating. It appears to be safe and it's an excellent price. It's compatible as promised and is a handy spare charger.

Does not work with the Canon 4000D
This dummy battery adapter does not fit the Canon 4000D. You can't close the door so the camera wont work. Useless for this model camera. Sent it back with no porblem.

Potential to break camera
Would break door on camera to fit in 4000dDoesn’t work without door shut.
