Doc said according to my lab results I needed to take and iron supplement. This did the trick and got my iron level where it's needs to be. Easy on the stomach when taken with food. For maximum absorption take with a juice that contains vitamin C( but not required)

My doctor recommended these iron pills due to my iron deficiency. She suggested I take 2 tablets, instead of 1 tablet as suggested on the bottle. I've been purchasing these iron pills through the pharmacy for over a year now, but they were all out this last time. I googled the brand and saw they were available on amazon. They cost the same as at the pharmacy and are the exact same bottle. I've had no stomach upset and no nausea either. They work great for me. I would definitely recommend them, especially because my doctor recommended them to me.

After going through a medical emergency where I needed 2 blood transfusion and then an iron infusion. A nurse practioner told me that all my life I've been taking the wrong type of iron supplements. After being on this, ferrous sulfate supplement a month my iron level is just now reaching an ok level. If you have heavy cycles please don't go with any other type of iron. Also the nurse practioner said take these with a cup of orange juice to be better absorbed. I wish I would have been given this information like 20 yrs ago!! They are small, easy to swallow and with orange juice I couldn't taste them. I was also eating everything high in iron including liver to raise my level before all the medical problems started. If your anemic please don't hesitate to try these, they actually work.

I don't know why you would shop for this, unless your doctor told you too (or you are super into supplements) either way... this is a good find. Inexpensive. Ships quickly. Easy to swallow. And helps do what it needs to do in my body. However, you should know.. this will change the color of your bowel movement. Don't freak out. It's totally ok.I will purchase this again if that helps.
