GBX75 all the way -- it's unstoppable!
This thing is *seriously* awesome! I have several big vehicles, and even though this was rated for engines up to 8.5L, I was still skeptical that it could crank over their big batteries. Boy, have I been surprised! Even with a parasitic drain on my V10 Excursion, this allowed me fire the engine right up -- no waiting or anything.I've actually been most impressed though by the 'override' mode that allows the device to jump batteries that have been sitting for long periods in the cold and have effectively become depleted. I also have a Ford Expedition that had been parked for a couple months over winter. I recently tried to jump start it with cables using another truck, but to no avail. I then connected a trickle charger for 48 hours and it still wouldn't start. I had just about resigned myself to purchasing a new battery, but on a whim, I figured I'd give it a shot -- and after engaging override, it finally worked! As a result, it's already paid for itself. You can be sure that any time I have to leave my car in the airport parking garage for a few days, I'm going to have this in my trunk...cause it's a lousy feeling to get back into town just to have to call AAA in order to drive home. Needless to say, I'm a total NOCO fan boy now!

Performed well the first four times it has been used
Well, this is been in my parts box and has only been used 4 times. The only thing I can really say is that started every vehicle. The engines seems to turn over stronger with the jump starter than with a fully charged in-vehicle battery. It is more expensive than many but my impression is this unit delivers what it says on the tin and am hopeful they are using high quality battery cells.Anyhow, I don't see anything that would keep me from recommend this jump starter.BT recommended

Quality Jump Starter
The Noco Boost X GBX75 started my car right out of the box. This is the first time I have ever used a jump starter and it was very easy to use. So, yes, I’m completely happy with my purchase. Amazon thanks for the quick and early delivery.

Not So “Ultra Safe” – Extremely Disappointed (Bought Twice!)
I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with the NOCO GBX75 – especially after giving it two chances. The first unit I bought lasted just under two months before it literally caught on fire during normal use. Yes, you read that right – it caught on fire. This was incredibly frustrating considering NOCO heavily advertises these as “Ultra Safe.” What’s worse is their so-called warranty didn’t cover it. Turns out, you have to register the product first for the warranty to even apply – something they don’t make very clear up front.Still needing a jump box, I reluctantly bought a second GBX75, thinking maybe the first was just a fluke. Nope. Same poor performance. Despite all the marketing hype, both units could only jump about 7 to 8 times on a full charge before needing to be recharged – and that’s under ideal conditions. I originally thought the first unit was defective, but it turns out that’s just how low the actual capacity is.For the price, you’d expect reliable performance, solid safety, and a warranty you don’t have to fight for. Instead, I got two unreliable units, fire hazard concerns, and a huge dose of buyer’s remorse. I’ve completely lost trust in the NOCO brand after this experience.

Top Rated Vehicle Jump Starter
This review is for NOCO Boost X GBX75 2500A 12V UltraSafe Portable Lithium Jump Starter. I've been a NOCO owner for years. My first NOCO was the GB40 that I had for a few years. When the GBX Series came out, I decided I wanted the USB-C connection it offered, and I prefer to have fixed cables for the jumper leads. I really only needed the GBX55 for anything that I might ever need to jump start, but I liked the longer cables and that the cables did not wrap in front of the light on the GBX75. So, the GBX75 won me over. It offers 2,500A for jump starting power, and it doubles as a battery pack. It also features a very nice light.I went with NOCO over the other brands, because all the consumer and professional testing I saw put NOCO at the top for jump starting vehicles. That's not to say all others are bad, but I wanted compact and the best jump starter I could get. Other brands do offer more features though, such as more USB connections and/or built-in air compressor. So, there are pros/cons of the brand you choose, and you have to decided what features are important to you.I also purchased the matching NOCO GBC103 case. The case is very good quality, and the GBX75 fits perfectly in it. It fits all the accessories, but the case really is a lot bigger than it needs to be.As much as I like my NOCO Boost X GBX75, I have noticed I can't get it to a full 100% charge. It appears that that when it is fully charged the green light should become solid. Even having it charge over night the most I get is blinking green for the light. Out of the box it came with about a 50% charge. There are also some things that I would like to have seen on this booster. I would like to see a voltage readout like they have on the GB150, and I would like to see the instructions printed on the top of the device. There is so much blank space on the top of the device that it would have been very easy to print the instructions on it. It has a little sticker on it that says to start vehicle within 60 seconds and power off/on to reset, but it's only a sticker than can peel off. It also doesn't give you instructions about the override button. Again, there is tons of real estate on the device to give clear directions. Also, they charge a lot for the accessories. I would have liked to have seen a bundle package that saved you some money.
