Beast of DAC
-L&P W2 got pretty impressive dynamic range illustration, the transient response from one note to another is crisp fast, and impluse response is quicker than FiiO M11pro’s AK4497EQ to my impression-I tried with modern high end IEM like qdc Anole VX $2600, UM MEST MKII $1500, Softears RSV$730, Thie Audio Monarch $720, Moondrop Variations $530. And compared DAPs like FiiO M11Pro $750, HifiMan HM801 $700, Astell & Kern AK70 $800.This results in great dynamism which is quite evident on Moondrop Variation’s LCP bass driver, the sound that the piano hammer hits the string, the kick of the bass drum, all with very realistic presence.I feel spatial coordination is still behind of M11Pro, but it’s definitely a great option for $300 compared to DAPs that costs more than 2 or 3x of this DAC.For resolutions above 16B/44.1k, W2 starts to run behind proper DAP like AK4497x2 equipped M11 Pro.-It came with usb-C /lighting/general USB adapters as a source of input-if connecting directly thru wires doesn’t bother you(I meant for the options of Bluetooth receivers like FiiO BTR5), W2 is something to consider as an option to boost your iphone/android/PCHighly recommendable to audiophile audiences

Dap killer.
Have RME adi2 as desktop, Fiio m15, Fiio m11 ltd, Fiio q5, lotoo paw s1, and ikko zerda. Also have had Hiby r3, Hiby r5, Ibasso dx300, dragonfly red/cobalt, and Fiio BTR5.This little sucker is the best. I don’t know how they did it but has great soundstage, imaging, and dynamics in a tiny little package that seems to pair well with everything thing I have. Makes stellia, elex, sundara, Argons, sennheiser hd 6xx, and all my iems (like 10 pairs) sing. Reminds me of hiby r3 with same dac chip but r3 which was a great dap but software was to limited and couldn’t access Amazon hd or Apple Music.Maybe selling of some stuff as this little bad boy has my heart.Only very small gripe is connecting cables which are white and similar to apple cables which are kind of crap as they get dirty and are not very durable. It does draw battery faster than btr, ikko, paw s1, and others but not enough to be a deal breaker and benefits far outweigh.

this is the best thumb drive dac I've ever used.
I really like that it comes with a short cable that's USB C at one end and lightning at the other. It's a nice piece of cable and obviates the need to use those Apple Camer Adapter thingy that always fail after a relatively short period of usage.

The hype was real! Great product with a few cons...
I'm gonna go as far as to say that the sound quality on this thing is comparable to my Astell & Kern SE100, which is a $1500 product. Of course, SE100 is a lot more versatile device and has better sound quality, but wow, to even be able to be compared to a product that costs 5x as much, that's an accomplishment.I've tried a few other portable DACs to compare (Fiio, Qudelix, SoundBlaster, etc.), but nothing within a similar price range could match the sound quality of L&P's W2. Consequently, I've returned (and will be returning) everything else and just keep this for my main portable DAC.There are a few CONS though:1. Updating firmware is a pain in the butt - no English, only Chinese. Also, need to download the firmware from a random Chinese website with no malware protection and manually update it.2. When plugged into a PC via USB, volume control could only be done on the device, not on the PC.

It works with iPhone.
Not sure what the other reviewer was doing but it works with iPhone with the supplied cable.

Does not work correctly with an iPhone.
This unit dies not work correctly with an iPhone. The high pass setting has to be set and you can only turn up to 70, which is very low. Once you turn it up, it starts clipping. I went thru 2 W2's and 2 different cables only to find the same problem. Even called the vendor and explained my problem, he said to try another cable. I found out about this issue digging thru online blogs about the W2. So I had to return 2 W2's and 2 cables. Wasted a lot of time, so if you're gonna use this with an iPhone, it won't work correctly.

Doesn’t work with Apple products like iPhone or iPad
Although it is supposed to work with IOS devices and comes with a lightning connector cable that links the W2 to an iPhone or iPad, it only worked briefly with my iPad. Then it stopped working. Now, it doesn’t connect with the iPad at all. So avoid the W2 if you are looking for a miniature DAC/headphone amp to use with an iPhone or iPad.
