I purchased this brush to apply sunscreen to my infant after reading all of the great reviews for its even and consistent blending of sunless tanner. It’s the perfect size to fit in my hand and spread that thick, white SPF 50 all over her face and body. She doesn’t seem to mind it at all, and my 4 year old nephew asked me to put sunscreen on him using the brush while at the beach this past weekend- WIN! It works so well to apply and blend sunscreen, I use it for myself now too. It’s easy to clean out with some dish soap and water. Best mom hack ever!

So I didn't use this for self tanner. I bought this for my boyfriend to use for sunscreen. He does NOT like the feeling of sunscreen on his hands and if doesn't have a place to rinse his hands off, he won't apply it. Even with the spray on suncreen, you're supposed to rub it in, so not a great alternative. And on boats, spray-on sunscreen is a big No-no (think HUGE slipping Hazzard with a slick boat deck and walking on a very unstable, wet surface) and the wind on the beach can make application hard to get even coverage, so again not an option for us.When we go to the beach together, I need his help to apply sunscreen to my back and I always felt bad about asking him to help me. I'm a religious sunscreen applier and set a timer for every hour to reapply. And every time, hed have to walk across hot sand to rinse his hands in the ocean, get his feet wet and then walk back to our spot with sandy wet feet. Not super fun. Or use our bottled water to rinse his hands, which is a little wasteful.At first, he thought the brush was an unnecessary purchase. After using it, he really likes it! He even said it felt nice! I was nervous about the brush absorbing the sunscreen and it not applying it to our skin, but that was not the case. The places we used the brush to apply the sunscreen had more even coverage than where I used my hands. I got burnt in tiny missed spots where I applied my sunscreen, but my back and shoulders where he used the brush are not even burnt. Same on him, hes for little patches of burnt spots where I used my hands, but his arms and face are perfectly sunburn free with the brush.To clean, I took soap and warm water and washed it until the water ran clear.Overall, this was a GREAT purchase. Considering how streak free our tans are, I'd recommend it for the intended use of self tanner. It does soak some product up, but what's the point of using self tanner if it's going to come out patchy?

Blends my tan so good! It is smaller than I expected but it still does the trick!

A must brush to own to apply the look of a tan lotion and for self tan! Works so well leaving no streaks because it’s very dense and soft! No streaks!

Pale girl years into self tanning! This is so superior to any application glove it’s crazy. Super even tone all over my legs on the first try. Don’t pay for a glove for $6/$10 , this is worth every penny and I’m getting another one. Tried on legs only. Pale skin. Super even results. I would compare this to a nice facial brush. I also used less product for better results.

I use the Isle of Paradise tanning spray and drops. Normally I would use my hands, which made my tan look very obviously fake. The brush made my tan look seamless. A must for tanning, especially on hands.
