Bought this raincoat for an Alaskan sea cruise. I liked it very much for protecting from the rain. If I can add one more thing for people going in cold weather environment, is that you should get one size bigger than your size. Because if you dress up with lots of layer then your raincoat will not close/ or zipper up. I am size large and bought an XL, and I was able to layer lots of garments without having any problem zipping up. Also makes a great wind breaker too.

Jacket is a lightweight shell which is exactly what I was looking for. Have not yet worn it in the rain but the material looks as if it will be fairly waterproof with little if any seepage. The material is of the type that may deteriorate after several years but should be quite serviceable until then. Should also be good as a windbreaker.

Tried out the jacket today. Was outside for about 15 minutes. When I took off the jacket my back was sweating. I am 250 LBS and the xl Jacket is a bit snug. Maybe I should get a XXL.

Don't get a knock-off because this brand is awesome! Totally with the $35. Got this for my husband and now that I've tried it on will be getting one for me as well. Watch the video by this seller and it will tell you everything you need to know. It IS breathable and waterPROOF, not just resistant. Your body and skin can breathe and it's extremely packable. We are is a hot, humid state and he works outdoors so I purposely got him one size up (didn't want it to be right -ish, needed some room for the air to move between this and his cotton work shirt) and it's perfection!! But if you want it to fit perfectly just get you usual US size. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect, light weight, portable jacket. Used this easy to pack jacket on a recent trip and it was perfect for rain and wind protection. Comes with retractable hood.

good quality for the price and works well. Packs small. I took it to Europe and had rain for a few days. this jacket was great.

Wa severything I expected, and just what i wanted. two thumbs up!

This seems like a windbreaker that is water resistant not fully water proof. I wore during a light shower and it felt like some rain was getting through. It did help some but I would not say water proof. I like that it is light weight, the hood is attached and can will up int the collar.
