Someone told me that this product works for removing set in stains and I applied to a stubborn stain on sweatshirt and let it sit overnight washed it and stain was gone. I was shocked as all the other products designed to do the same thing did not budge the stain. Great product to have on your laundry room

We have fallen in love with this stuff! Clothes smell heavenly, brighter, super clean, removes dinginess and odors. We were Tide, then Gains fans prior to discovering this stuff.

I love Purcell. It works. It smells good. It’s like adding an extraordinary detergent that you know will work.

Firstly, I haven't used a ton of different detergents so my experience isn't exactly scientific. I would normally just get Tide or Gain at the store and move on with my life. But I recently got stuck using some Dollar General/Dollar Tree brand knock off stuff, and it really made it clear how important detergent can be so I wanted to put a little more effort into finding detergent that gets the clothes clean and also leaves them smelling good so when I put them on next time they still smell clean. None of the name brands ever did that, and it was fine, they smelled good for 10 minutes after taking them out of the dryer then became scentless, which was an improvement over smelling like sweat, so I never complained. I never knew life could be better. Once the knock off brand couldn't even clean the sweat smells out, I buckled down and found Persil. Unfortunately they don't sell the Oxi version at my local grocer, so I have to order it online, but its well-worth the trouble.Just be strict about how much you put in there (I usually put 3/4 of a cap) so you don't waste it and overuse it and it will last you a long time and in my experience the clothes are just as clean as any other good brand and smell incredible for weeks when in your closet. Persil is not overrated.If you have bad stains of stuff like grease, chemicals, things of that nature, you may want to get an old school powder detergent, but for day-to-day laundry needs, there's no better option in my (admitedly limited) experience.

I was looking for something strong scented that lasts and smells good. This is it. My whole house smells like sweet fruits when I do laundry and my clothes smell so sweet and clean.

Works fine for cleaning - I always add some for a pre wash and I do a second rinse. I liked the other formula better simply because I don’t like the scent of this one. I did not return it because it seems to to a good job cleaning.

Really love the smell. Makes me love doing laundry, has a kind of fresh watermelon jolly rancher smell, lol.
