Factory quality flares effortlessly
I have struggled for years with making inverted flares with the cheap $20 tools from the parts stores. Inconsistent quality from those cheap tools caused me to give up for a couple of decades and use just pre-made sections of brake line from the parts store. After watching someone on YouTube recommend this tool, I took the plunge and bought it, and I cannot express how impressed I am! I don't think I have ever made a decent quality flare before, and my first attempt with this tool was not only screaming success, it was absolutely perfect and it's as good or better than the factory made flares you get on the pieces of pre-made brake line from the parts store! This tool is going to be an absolute game-changer and not only save me many trips to the parts store, it will allow my custom-made brake lines to be exactly the right length instead of having to settle for the sizes available at the store, but it will also allow me to step up to stainless steel brake line at a cost comparable to what I was paying to do pre-made lines in plain steel. The tool set comes in a nice blow molded case that holds the tool, all the dies, any instruction sheet. I can't speak to the kit that includes only the double flares, or only the AN flares, but the kit that I got with both the double flares and the AN flares came in a case that had cutouts for everything, so all my flaring dies and the tool fit in one handy case. It may not seem like much, but keeping all these tools together in one place he's kind of nice, that way you don't end up having to look around for a particular set of dies that you may have misplaced- this set keeps everything together so nothing will get lost. This tool May cost 10 times as much as the cheapies, but the first time you use it you WILL know where that extra money went. It's not only 100% foolproof, it's actually even fun to use! If you have read the review this far, it means that you are considering getting this tool. Take my word for it- stop debating and BUY IT! I can see that this is easily going to be one of the best dollar for dollar tool investments I've ever made. I wish I had found this tool about 25 years ago; it would have made my dozens of vehicle projects since then so much easier with significantly nicer final products.

ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER
Since 1995 Ive worked on and built custom offroad vehicles in many many levels. Always used one of the run of the mill flare tools that are a pain. Always regretted doing the pluming end of every job because of how time consuming it was using janky ass tooling. Bought this tool and OMFG. What took 10 minutes to build a brakeline, now is a 3 minute deal, and they come out perfect every single time (unless you miss-calculate the length). Paid $300 for this and must say how ashamed I am of myself for not buying it yrs ago.HIGHLY recommend

The Last Flaring Tool You'll Ever Need
OMG! What a flaring tool! I went from wasting a good day trying to make a single satisfactory double flare to making perfect one's in minutes. Its so easy its actually fun making them. No more making a bad flare, cutting it, making a bad flare again and again until my line is too short. Very nice tool and well built. I like the fact that it makes bubble flares, single flares and double flares in both 45 and 37 degrees. I sold my three sets of flaring tools to my uncle for $20 in preparation of receiving this and I wasn't disappointed. I also like that it has a single case to hold all the dies unlike the Eastwood tool which has a small case and then sells the dies separately. The case has room for more dies but I wouldn't know what they would add in there since it does everything already. I thought about getting the Mastercool hydraulic flaring tool instead of this one which has a cool factor but I didn't want to have to worry about the pump failing on me in the next 20 years. Yes I plan to keep this tool forever. The handle on this is pretty long and doesn't take too much effort to use. With the Mastercool some people say they can pump it too far and damage the flare. With this tool I can definitely tell when I am at the right point to release the lever. One thing though is you need a good vice to hold it properly.

Perfect double flare EVERY time
I have had a custom auto repair shop for well over thirty years working on exotic automobiles, custom yachts and turbine helicopters. Over the years I have bought a number of flaring tools but this thing is the best flaring tool I have ever seen and used. I just replaced all the old brake lines on my motor with 3/16" 316L SS tube and 316L fittings. This tool double flared every end perfectly and without any problem.I've read the reviews and saw one where the person wrote nothing but bad. My guess is that whoever wrote that negative review must be mechanically inept and/or incompetent with the use of tools. I can't say enough good about this tool, though I would describe it more as a high quality precision machine. I highly recommend this tools to anyone that is mechanically capable of doing this type of work. If you are not mechanically capable of doing this type of work pay someone that is instead of buying one of these and writing a bad review because of your own ineptness.

Sent a used damaged tool
This isn't the first time this year I've been sent a used damaged tool, so I am now going to post pictures of them just in case you get the used damage tool I was sent. This is the picture of the damaged 5/16-45deg flaring die, you can see on the right hand side of the pic that is stuck together, I included a picture of an unused die for reference.

Best flaring tool I've ever used
You can tell it is a well made product right away, it has a nice weight and operates smooth. I used it for the first time today and will never use anything else to make flares. After I finished the first flare I literally thought to myself "I had to have messed up, there's no way its that easy" but it was a perfect flare..it really was that easy! I know it isn't the cheapest tool to buy, but is absolutely worth every penny. Get it. You won't regret it.
