the ticking sound is tolerable when you balance the clock well. Friends have admired the special watch. Absolutely wonderful widget

This is a stylish and lovely clock that was very loud to us but our particular model may have been an exception as the beak of the woodpecker (or second 'hand' hit the interior side of the clock really hard.

The clock is attractive however it is loud unless you put padding in to eliminate the sound also it does not keep time to any degree of accuracy

I love the look of this clock. I am hoping that someone can tell me if it is supposed to be quiet. I don't like the ticking that it makes. I can hear it 20 feet away. Any suggestions? If it weren't for the load ticking, I would give it 5 stars!

Been looking for a modern minimal clock and it fits (was a surprise gift so very thoughtful haha) that but the ticking tactic of it is super loud, cute for few minutes then it feels im waiting for the aligator coming for captain hook to arrive...Have it out of level and it still manages to tick fairly audibly.... And also can hear the mechanism swinging so theres like the ticking plus the other noise so probably will return as its rather distracting instead of soothingDirections even say if not perfectly balanced a ticking noise will occur, but regardless itll tick...Only 2 stars cause the design saved it from anything less...sorry
