If you have a picture and a little aptitude, this is an easy install. I can't find any reason to buy the 250$$+ units when these are here. if you want, buy the kit, buy the expensive filter cone separately and you're still ahead. I won't claim more power... but... It feels like my throttle response was improved. I am happy with this purchase. I did have to use one of the original clamps and rubber 'grommet' at the MAS air flow device, but that as easy.

Install went okay, take a bit of shifting around to get everything to line up. The clamps are absolute garbage, I fought back and forth to get mine to seal and finally just bought better clamps, the filter also broke the top metal piece off so I swapped to a k&n. Over all the welds look decent and everything fits decent. I dropped two start for the clamps and filter.

Instalation wasn't bad, everything bolted up nicely accept for the bottom bracket that connects the intake to the heat shield...if installing on a 2000 Chevy Silverado don't worry about trying to connect it. Bad design, if it was longer and had a drilled hole than cool but it has an open ended fork thing we're the bolt would just slide off anyway. All in all for the price good product, sturdy, and easy install. Only gave 4 stars cause of the issue with the bottom bracket.

The Air Intake works pretty good. It was easy to install but the plastic is hard so it made it kinda difficult to put the stuff together, plus the air filter was a bit to big but you can push in the metal pipe more into the plastic so the air filter can fit perfectly but the claps were cheap but it did it’s job. If it wasn’t for the plastic being kinda hard to move I would of gave it a 5 star

I put it on a 2003 2500 HD Gmc Sierra, everything bolted up the way it should. Hose clamps are a little cheap but what do you expect for the price. Im happy with it.
