Perfect for 2015 Lexus Es 350

Worked perfectly for my 2015 Lexus IS-250. The silver key ring piece on my OEM fob broke, when I accidentally dropped it sometime ago. It was really annoying because I could no longer attach the fob to any other keys, since the key ring snapped. I thought I was going to have to buy a new smart key and get it reprogrammed, since you have the option of purchasing an OEM or aftermarket smart key, but you will have to take it to a locksmith or your Lexus dealership to get it programmed to your vehicle. After several hours of research, I stumbled upon this smart key shell. Thank goodness, I transferred the components from inside my broken fob into this new shell. Worked great! Although the new shell feels a bit heavier than the original, I’d rather take that than to spend a couple hundred bucks on a new smart key!

This item was as represented on the website. Worked well for what I needed and was much cheaper than the OEM product. The only complaint I have is that the manual key won't stay locked in place on the fob. That might be due to wear on my key or poor design. Happy with the purchase overall though. One note of caution. Be careful of what pieces are included. Many of the options were cases that fit over the old fob. That won't fix what most people need which is the case itself. This item uses your existing electronic elements which must be in working order.

Fits perfectly for my Lexus key

I purchased a 2019 Lexus NX300 used about 3 years ago. One of the key fobs the dealer gave me looked like it had been run over, but it was hidden in a Lexus leather sleave. I had no idea that these shells were available and thought I had to fork over hundreds to get it replaced. There are two drawbacks and issues. The first is that the Lexus logo isn't on the back nor is there a hole to move the old one over. The second is that the emergency hidden key comes out easily without pressing the release button and then could be lost. For these two reasons I cannot give it 5 stars.
