Samsung | MX-T40 | Sound Tower | High Power Audio 300W | 2021

I’m an audio enthusiast and I was just looking for a radio for the garage and maybe for outside during cookouts. This tower is FANTASTIC! The audio quality is superb for what is just a portable bluetooth speaker! Great low-end while not being overpowering, while the full range of the rest of the speaker is just great. I did a bunch of test tracks and it does such a good job! I considered putting outdoor speakers up in the backyard but after listening to this tower, I am just going to buy another one and pair them because they do such a better job then the outdoor satellite speakers I’ve looked into. Bluetooth range is VERY good. I had my phone in my pocket and walked several hundred feet away and around a building and it was still playing just fine! Great speakers!

I read mixed reviews before I purchased this sound system, most were good. I needed an updated & portable system for a dance party in a gymnasium. I was unsure if only one sound tower would fill such a large space. It exceeded my expectations by filling the gymnasium with crisp and clear music. The sub woofer offered amazing bass as well. I had the volume turned all the way up to the max which is 50 for 2 solid hours and it didn't miss a beat. I'm glad I didn't buy 2 because 1 was more than enough. Also, it's a pretty solid and well made product which makes it kinda heavy to carry, you'll definitely have to use both carrying handles to move it. The Samsung MX-T70 is an awesome sound system!!

We recently purchased a blow up projection screen for outdoor football watch parties/movie nights and needed a boost in sound as the projector sound was too quiet. This baby is loud! We will have no problem hearing what we’re watching and drowning out any traffic noise (we live on a high traffic route). The sound quality is wonderful and am super happy with my purchase. Money well invested. My only wish, a very minor one, is that we could choose a solid color for the lights. I think that would be a great option for those who don’t want the distraction of blinking lights while watching but having the ambiance of some lighting.

I bought this specifically for projecting movies outside at night after using numerous other methods of supplying sound.I live in a small town that can be pretty loud in the evening due to train tracks a mere 1.5 blocks away. I've tried connecting a receiver amplifier to passive speakers (worked well- but pain to set-up), edifier bookshelf speakers (worked pretty well-just too many cables to deal with) and portable Bluetooth speakers (didn't have the volume to drown out the occasional train).This speaker worked well connected via the roku app sending audio to the speaker system. I was concerned that #1- the stereo effect would be diminished by this speakers design (it wasn't - it actually worked quite well), #2- bluetooth latency (not noticeable at all), #3- bluetooth connectivity would be poor-no issues at all at around 20ft) and #4- the volume couldn't drown out the distant train sounds (it was undoubtedly loud enuff but, just barely (I think I had the speaker volume at 47/50)). Distortion at this volume was minimal if present at all.Overall, I think I found the perfect audio system for my scenario. Easily carried and positioned into place, very good stereo projection and good coonectivity with adequate volume. If you can afford it, and don't mind the extra bulk of the t50 for added umph, I would take that step up in decibels if your in a noisy environment.

Sounds amazing for size

I got this for my office with the intention of buying more and linking them. I changed my mind as I really don't need more. This thing has great sound for it's size. My business partner went and bought a couple after hearing mine. I keep it running with music at my office, so I can't crank it up so as to not bother my neighbors, but my son has turned it up when he was playing with it and it sounded awesome. Much more bass that I had anticipated. It's a great buy. if you don't need the battery of the new version, this is a great buy.

I have a sound bar and wasn't able to add this to my list of speakers. Why don't I know? The speaker would play all by itself but not with the other speakers. Samsung TV Samsung sound bar Samsung speakers and the tower wouldn't link up.

Great sound works well with Bluetooth but it is NOT WIFI ready in that you can't connect it to your network via WIFI; at least not anyway that I have found. It will likely connect to other MX-T50 speakers, however, I only have the one so I don't know. The Sound is good for the compact unit and has clear mid-range and deep lows. It does not have a battery so it must be plugged into an outlet (I knew this when I purchased so no worries there). If i could have connected it to my home network via WIFI, I would have given it 5 stars. As it is, I only gave it three due to incorrect information on the listing. Look at the Samsung web page to get the real specs before purchase. The sound is good so I'm keeping it for now.
