Good fit and function
Fits very well across my accident deformed instead. Heavy boots help keep you grounded in swift water. Put them to use on the White River and Taneycomo during generation releases. Comfortable and secure. Easy to clean so your not hauling snot from river to river. Nothing to criticize. Great value as they're much more affordable than typical fishing wader boots. I make custom footwear and rebuild quality boots, I see long lasting durability with these. Highly recommend.

Great for the price
These booties lasted me just over a year before the seam in the back ripped open. Wore with and without waders. Used for work, wading in streams for water quality monitoring. Kept my feet safe, never had to worry about what I was stepping on in murky water. Gave 4 stars because they are slippery when walking around after getting out of the water and I expected them to last longer than they did. But overall will likely repurchase again instead of trying out another boot.

Wade fishing boots
Exactly what he expected when he ordered. Has used a few times. Does say people who buy these to fish won’t get a total comfort feeling because the bottom of gulf has lots os shells you’ll be walking on

Bulky and heavy. They work but not great.
They were OK. Very heavy. Would not purchase again,

Good fit over neoprene on my waders.
I bought these to wear with my waders. I ordered a size larger to ensure a comfortable fit over the neoprene booties. They fit great. I appreciated the sturdy Velcro that wraps my ankle and the thickness of the rubber door when stepping on sharp rock surfaces. Others I’ve had in the same size were too narrow in the toe box and squeezed my toes together so much that sometimes they’d overlap. These are comfortable to wear while hiking and look to be much more durable with multiple layers of rubber in their construction. They weigh a lot more than other brands I’ve worn but I didn’t notice it much while hiking.

Did not do what the product was suppose to do protect against a sting ray bar
These boots did not do what they where intended to do protect against sting ray barbs. I been stung 2 times before and after purchasing these I was happy that those days where in the past. Well I can now say I been stung for the third time by a sting ray while wearing these boots that where suppose to protect me. I was willing to put these on every time I was out fishing the surf even though they where heavy and uncomfortable. I did not mind as long as they would do what they where advertise to do and that’s protects you from rays. I would return them for a refund but I don’t have that option anymore the window for return has passed. Their new home will be the dumpster. WARNING do not buy these unless you want to use them as weights to work out your legs or want to know what it feels like to be stung by a sting ray.

Weight
I returned these, but never received the credit. The reason for returning was strictly weight as it was a fly out destination and I was trying to keep weight and bulk to a minimum. Looks as though they would work well and were comfortable.

Heavy duty
Pros: sturdy, seems durable, great lower foot protection, fair price point, warm while wading in cold ocean surf.Cons: heavy as heck, sizing is not that accurate, the zipper gets jammed with sand, and the lower portion of the foot is really the only protected area… the ankle area is only made of neoprene and certainly leaves me feeling exposed to potential stingray barbs. So, I do a lot of metal detecting in knee deep surf here on the west coast and there are a surprising number of stingray around me at any given time, along with other swimming critters. I never realized it until I started shining my headlamp into the water at night.I’ve used these several times and they are nice for keeping my feet warmer in the ocean water for prolonged hunts, however they are an absolute burden when they start filling up with sand. It’s like walking with lead plates on the soles of your shoes. So I’ve gotta stop occasionally and dump the sand and water out (especially when trekking back up to the beach)The biggest problem has been sand jamming the zipper, making it difficult to take off.I’m giving a 4 star because they could stand a bit more protection up the side of the foot and ankles without having to add a full on shin guard system, but the price point on these is fair and they do add protection to the lower foot etc.The zipper is robust, and I know from an engineering standpoint, sand just makes things problematic, but maybe some kind of strapping system that could double as ankle protection?Hope this was helpful!
