AdessoTruForm AKB-150SB-TAA Desktop Ergonomic Smart Card Reader Keyboard (TAA Compliant)

I needed a new keyboard for work, and IT didn't have an ergonomic one in supply. I also needed one with a CAC reader. This one fits the bill on both accounts. The keyboard is split like a regular keyboard, but isn't adjustable like the last one I had. I wish it had a padded wrist rest so that it would be more comfortable to type on. It is slightly raised, but again, I like to have it sitting higher. It gets the job done.

A good an effective keyboard but I just the keys were mechanical

I like the overall look and feel of this keyboard and love the plug and play without having to install drivers, especially with the smart card attachment. The ergonomic design helps with wrist fatigue and ensures that you know how to type properly. There is keyboard is not peck friendly so peckers, be ware. Still all in all, pretty good keyboard, just wish the keystrokes were a bit more silent. Good buy, though.

I work for the Government in which we used the Card with the chip. I had no problems with this keyboard logging in and instantly was able to use it. The keys are smooth and the ergonomics is perfect. My wrist rest well and I no longer have the wrist fatigue. It's a nice size and the fonts on the keys are great. It lays flat and high enough to type w/o any adjustment of elevation of the keyboard needed. I am very impressed. Worth the price.

Was excited to find an ergonomic smart card reader keyboard. This arrived in pristine condition, I plugged it in at work and it worked wonderful. Font is very large, for those that can’t see well. However, there are a few flaws...the keys keep sticking (like I have to press more than once) and there’s some sort of delay when I push the key and from when it appears on the screen. 3.5 rating based on keys sticking and the delay. Other than that it works fine, I’ll give it another week and come back with an update. Hoping I won’t have to return.
