Works well with Android phones and tablets, but not all of them. Be sure your Android device is capable of using this USB adapter. If it can, the combination of this adaptor and the Dragonfly Red D to A converter is a real winner. Excellent product.

Quality OTG Music Adapter
I have a HP Windows Tablet and gave it a try to connect my AudioQuest Dragon Red. Works phenomenal!

not worth the money for Amazon/Itunes music files
I have nice Bose headphones so I thought this DAC might give a nice boost to my music experience. I didn't realize that the main limiting factor (at least in my set-up) is the quality of the audio file. Almost all of my music is from Amazon or Itunes. I guess a DAC like this is more useful if you have high quality audio files, like music ripped from a physical CD or a high definition music streaming service. I can tell a difference, but not a $100 difference.

For the price, a no brainer.
Using between an Onkyo DO-X1A and iFi Micro iDSD black label. Works great and sounds superb. Cable is thick and feels sturdy despite only being a little micro USB connection it doesn't ever come loose or feel unstable. And most importantly the sound quality is instantly better vs a generic cable.

Did Not Work With My Samsung Tablet
I bought this to specifically use the Dragonfly Red with my Samsung tablet. I normally use the Apple camera adapter for my iPhone with no problems, but when I plug the DragonTail into the tablet, the DAC will power up, but I get no audio. Since I only use it when I travel, I did not notice until it was too late and can no longer return the item. I assumed there wouldn't be any problems since it's an AudioQuest accessory. That was my mistake for not checking when I received it in the mail. So I'll leave this item a 2 star review instead of a 1 star...
