A game changer for my skin care routine!
Title: A Game-Changer for My Skincare Routine!I’ve tried dozens of face cleansers over the years, but the Eight Saints Down To Earth Mud Gel Face Wash stands out in every way. From the first use, I noticed how gentle it was on my skin—no irritation, no dryness, just a clean, refreshed feeling. The scent is light and natural, not overpowering or artificial. It removes my makeup effortlessly (even waterproof mascara!), and my skin feels hydrated afterward, not stripped. The texture is smooth and spreads nicely with just a small amount.I love that it’s made with clean, natural ingredients—no toxins, no animal testing, and it's made in the USA with globally sourced components. Plus, the anti-aging benefits are a huge bonus—my skin looks brighter and feels firmer after a couple weeks of use.If you're looking for a face wash that truly nourishes your skin while being ethical and effective, this is it. Definitely worth the investment. I’ll be repurchasing for sure!

Great smell and texture
I initially tried this face wash as part of their sample kit and it was the first product I ran out of, and the one I was most disappointed to run out of. I waited a while to pull the trigger because of the price, and I went back to using my cheaper face wash, which was fine, my skin isn't picky. But my biggest issue with my skin are hormonal acne and staying consistent with my routine. Any vaguely unpleasant thing about a face wash will put me off of it which will then make my acne come back. This face wash has a nice citrus scent that isn't overpowering, a smooth consistency that has a light lather but not too much, and leaves my face feeling clean but not dried out. It's on the thinner side, which I prefer. As for the results, my skin is soft and pretty clear, it helps that I'm able to stay more consistent with this face wash than others I've used and not liked as much. It's pricier, but a little goes a long way and I overall really enjoy it.

It’s so good!!!
I’ve been using the eight Saints cleanser for over a week now. I am genuinely impressed with this product. It leaves my face, feeling smooth, clean, and even the smell is refreshing. There’s no residue or oiliness left after rinsing. It has a great lather and scent that is not overbearing. The natural ingredients gives me peace of mind, knowing that I’m not putting harsh chemicals on my skin. I’ve also noticed that I have fewer breakouts and my complexion is clear overall. The bottle it comes in is large and lasting. You only need a small amount for a good lather and clean face. I use my cleanser in the morning and evening and the bottle is still full. You are getting a lot of product for the price and also a a healthy face. I will continue to order Eight Saints products because they’re that good!

Amazing Cleanser – Gentle Yet So Effective!
I absolutely love this face wash! It leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean without any tightness or dryness. It removes all my makeup with ease—even stubborn waterproof mascara—without needing to scrub or tug at my skin. I’m always impressed by how effortlessly it works. After cleansing, I follow up with the Seeking C Serum and the Night Shift face gel to lock in moisture, and the combination leaves my skin feeling refreshed, hydrated, and glowing by morning. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a gentle yet powerful cleanser to add to your routine!

I've changed my mind...
5/07/24 - updated review:Ok, so. I've come around on this cleanser regarding a repurchase, because the company addressed one of the major issues I had with it (packaging). I still don't use it as my nighttime face wash (to take off sunscreen), but it's one of the ones in my morning rotation and I actually have started really liking it and reaching for it over others. I have found I do only need to use one to two pumps as directed (on a morning face that's essentially bare), so even the smaller tube is a fairly good value. My main reason for the big reconsider toward a repurchase was the newer, larger size, in a stand-up tube - no more pump without a feed tube!I always enjoyed the scent (earthy/"carrot"y as some have mentioned - very accurate, thank you, I couldn't pinpoint it!) and the low/no lather. I'm used to a cream cleanser, but sometimes I don't want that texture in the morning (usually hotter weather), so I'm really a fan of the light gel, and my combo/sensitive skin likes the no-lather. I used it in rotation all winter and never got dried out, and it may be my daily face wash come the warm, sweaty, summer months.Like with many ES products I've tried, if I had just used the trial size, I wouldn't have found the best way to use this cleanser, and I never would have given this brand another try. It took me awhile to find how best to use almost everything, nothing felt right or good at first, and it was really only love at first use for me with Pep Rally and Soulmate. Since I'm not a "sample" person (too much plastic waste), I'm really glad I've given some of these a shot with the full-sizes, because I've found several new products I love and will keep buying.Thank you, Eight Saints, for obviously listening to your customer base - I've seen a lot of changes that seem to be direct responses to (mostly packaging) complaints that I've read about different products.Stuff like that, coupled with the honestly very incredible customer service, is why I stuck with them and really wanted to give them a chance. Now, if they'd double the size of Pep Rally, I'd literally have all my dreams come true, lol.12/25/23 - original review (2 stars):I thought this was going to be my new cleanser, but it's another one I'll pass on. I'm someone who tends to be fairly conservative with her product use, so I thought the first few uses were my bad and that I didn't use enough cleanser. (Even though the brand says to only use one to two pumps and mix with water in your palm.) Unless I'm using a cream cleanser, I wet my face before applying, then do my thing. This doesn't say if you're supposed to start with wet or dry skin, so I've done both. Starting with dry skin (on a sunscreen-and-grime-covered face) proved to be the yuckiest, driest experience that I'll never care to repeat. I added a little more water (like, honestly just drops) but then felt the cleanser was just super diluted and not cleaning. I was afraid to use any more in case it would dry me out, but I had to since it was all I had within reach, and I wasn't about to go into my cabinets to get a different cleanser all dripping wet with water in my eyes. It thankfully didn't dry me out, but it also didn't clean; I had tinted sunscreen left behind on my flannel round when I was done - that never happens, even with the crummiest of cleansers I've tried. It feels/works better on a morning face that just has whatever your night products were.I love the scent (echoing others' statements - it's "earthy" and citrus-y) and it's very light.2 oz. is small for a gel cleanser and, at this price, it's not worth it - but it seems I'm alone. It's essentially a travel-size product and, considering it's plastic (recyclable or not), that's an environmental disaster to repurchase so often. The other products I have are glass except for the lids/tops.I like some of the other products from this company, but this is a total waste of money. For now, I'm using it on "clean" (morning) skin, and it's ok for that until it's gone.***This cleanser didn't have any seal on the box or the bottle; my other ES products have had one or both.***I thought I would like the stand-up pump for the runnier consistency but, since you "shake well" before using, it pumps out with a million air bubbles and barely any product.
