Helped immensely
My indoor cats got fleas that were tracked inside from we suspect a house guest. In addition to battling fleas on my two kitties, we were also battling them throughout the entire house; basically anywhere my kitties nap, which is everywhere. Let me tell you, nothing is more disgusting feeling that having a house full of annoying, gross little fleas that hop and bite your ankles. Now I keep my house spotless, I vacuum every other day, clean, dust, keep things picked up, and I went on an absolute rampage trying to get rid of these stupid things. To say it takes a while is an understatement. We've been battling them now for about 6 weeks and nearly have them completely eradicated from existence. The cats have each had three regular flea treatments under the direction of our vet, plus flea pills. I used this carpet powder, indoor flea spray, flea traps, and outdoor flea treatment to combat this issue. Its been a nightmare, and costly, but this powder played a vital roll in helping knock down the population and bringing my house back in order. I've purchased several containers of it and use it once every few days to help kill any new fleas and eggs that get sucked up in the vacuum. The smell is refreshing and doesn't put off a ton of particles when you put it down. Overall, I'm very happy with this flea powder and recommend it if you too are battling these terrible little creatures!

Returned
Returned without using when I read that this could be harmful to my dogs. Why would anyone sell a product like this that could hurt our pets if you don't get all of it cleaned up?

After purchasing a large amount of Hartz products for my dad's new puppy, I came across a social media post where a woman was crying saying a Hartz product had killed her dog. After seeing this I read the comments and did a days worth of research on the brand Hartz and the products they make. I found out that for the most part the products were safe, but if a person has a dog that maybe likes to drink they're bath water or if you give your dog frequent baths and the product possibly gets in their nose or eyes this in turn could have adverse affects. I too gave my (dad's) puppy a bath, and I would have never thought something so simple as trying to keep him clean, could harm him. I reached out to Hartz after this and their employee working their poison hotline was very helpful and informative, he told me that symptoms of poisoining usually show up in the first 24 hours and if 48 hours have passed, the my friend should be fine. I reached out to the staff at a petsmart pet hospital and I was told because I'd only used the product on my friend once, he should be fine, as well as I said, doing a lot of research on the product. So overall, while my friend has passed the 48 hours timeframe for the side effects of this product, that does not alter the fact that this product and many products that Hartz makes has the potential to cause him to become very sick over time. I tossed everything I'd used for him the trash, and I don't intend to use any Hartz products ever again. But I intend to inform pet lovers everywhere I go of the foul outcomes that have happened to others because it doesn't seem to be something that Hartz as a brand is taking seriously. Give me the information you have regarding the use of your products and let me make an informed decision. If honesty isn't apart of your brands core qualities, why would I want to use your products on someone I consider to be my best friend and a part of my family.

A great solution for wiping out a sudden crop of fleas in the home.
Of course you should already be giving your dogs or cats regular flea treatments. But if a sudden crop pops up then protect your pets, and your family, by sprinkling this powder on your carpets, and upholstery. We had that happen with our Balinese cat. Not sure where the fleas came from, but we needed to wipe them out. I read the reviews on this, and ordered two cans just to make sure we had enough. We sprinkled it liberally all over our apartment, waited a couple of days, to vacuum it up. The fleas started disappearing almost instantly. It smells good, and doesn't seem to irritate our cat when he's laying around or playing on the carpet. Haven't seen any new fleas in a few weeks. The good thing is that we only have to repeat the protection once a year according to the instructions. I would highly recommend.

Fleas no more
My wife and I, or really more like I, took in some stray cats after our long time fur babies passed on. They adapted well to their new home and are all fixed now but they still have the urge to go outside. I hate letting them out because there are simply too many dangers but they know how to put qa guilt trip on me pretty good so sometimes I cave. They also bug my wife to know end during the day while I am at work so she will let them out. It's not a surprise then that they come home with flea. I buy drops and that manages it pretty well but occasionally they will stop walking on the floor and will do everything they can to hop from table to furniture to whatever just to avoid the floor. We don't notice any fleas on us but the only thing we can figure is they are on the floor and they see them.We buy this product and within a few days they are back to sleeping belly up on the floor and not trying to avoid touching it.This stuff works and it probably helps to give your fur babies some drops too.Easy to use. Easy to vacuum up. Highly recommend.
