Pro Studio Solutions EZ Pro Softbox Speedring speed ring insert for Profoto Strobe Light

I just saw that it had bad reviews and wanted to post that it works well. I use it on my 22" beauty dish. I'm buying a second for my 16" beauty dish. If I really have anything bad to say I would say that the one I received is pretty tight before you clasp it down. Maybe Fotodiox re-made the design for a tighter fit.

Needed a speed ring for a Mola Beauty Dish and Profoto D1. The name brand ring was three times the price of this one. The only difference I've seen is the rubber grip is a little more snug, so it takes just a couple of seconds longer to mount than the Profoto ring. Metal part feels solid enough.

I bought this speedring to add to my Adorama Glow EZ Lock Collapsible White Beauty Dish (25 INCH).It fits PERFECTLY!!!!

fits well.. strong chrome steel.. clasp could of been a little tighter on the profoto..overall great product great price..

The media could not be loaded. Wow! What a piece of junk. I have two different manufacturer speerings for my B1 and they're night an day difference from this product. Think of this as twice of a flexible rubber as it should be, as well as a terrible fitment. Refer to my video below, you will find it useful. Don't waste your thirty five bucks on this junk.3 stars because it is what it is, you get what you pay for.

This is a POS it is so badly made. the locking hardware looks like if this thing is used a lot it will come apart

Well , it does fit onto my beauty dish , and it does allow me to connect the dish to my Profoto light, however the problem is that the locking mechanism will not allow me to actually lock it onto the light, the rubber is sort of mis-shapen a little which makes it stay on my light, but its a little sketchy. Aiming straight forward it's fine , but tilting it down at to much of an angle it may fall off.If you have ever use a real Profoto speed ring you know how the folding metal clamp locks the rubber securely against the flash head, well with this ring, the clamp gets to tight to lock it onto the head, so therefor I cant even latch it.I may just have a bad one not sure , I'll call Amazon to get another and test it out.

The rubber ring on the unit is week. I had to replace the ring with a better rubber from another speed ring I had. fits much better. I think a good hardware store would it as well but I don't know the name of the rubber adapter.
