Might need to tune and change jet. 196cc didn’t idol correctly after installation B200r

Be aware that the filter cone is a bit fragile and can come off the base rather easily. Other than that, this thing exceeded exectations greatly. Took a bit of puzzling to get to put on, since there are no instructions included, however, if you have a bit of mechanical aptitude, you can puzzle your way through like I did. First thng, make sure you get a good exhaust before putting this on, otherwise, you are just wasting money and potential. Let me say, zero adjustments and it cranked on the third pull. Will have to fine tune it after it runs for a bit, but, man... What a difference thos two make. Went from about 20 mph to near 50 mph. The set up is simple if you dont want to tune it, just plug and play. Would definitely recommend this and the exhaust as a starting point, along with a Torque Converter!

Find a carb that actually has an adjustment for air/fuel mixture. Your air/fuel mixture screw is a critical part of the carburetor if you want your bike/gokart to run properly. I installed this carb on my minibike, hoping that it would increase the performance, but instead it made it worse. Try to give this carb more than half throttle, and it will kill the engine.normally, this would be an easy fix by turning the air/fuel mixture out to allow more fuel to be mixed in. but when there is no screw present, just a dummy screw, nothing can be done. this is truly a disapointment and you should definitely avoid this. I'm probably going to go for the Nibbi carb since everyone seems to have great experiences with it. overall just really disapointed and i hope no one makes the same mistake i made by wasting 30 bucks on this piece of crap.

Wow, I love this carb! The smoothness of the throttle is amazing. I love that the throttle snaps back like a dirt bike now. It also increased the performance and power of my mini bike.MAKE SURE TO RE-JET!My bike is stock besides governor removed, billet flywheel, and high flow exhaust. I needed to install a #100 main jet in order for it to run smoothly at WOT, and drop the clip on the slide needle to the lowest position to run smoothly at 1/4 throttle.I saw others mention #120 main jet, but this caused my bike to run too rich and bog out under WOT. I'm assuming you'd need a #120 jet if you did other performance mods such as a racing cam.

For the most part this was fine, nothing broke and it arrived alright, however the only problem I have with it is the idle, no matter how I tune it, it either bogs out or the idle is to high and I moves, also the placement of anything tunable is very bad, I’m here breaking my neck just to turn a screw a little to the left or right. But other then that it works fine and gave me more power.

Excellent quality carb kit. Easy to install. Runs great on Massimo MB200S 196cc engine. Will need to order a 50 inch throttle cable to go with slide carb if your existing carburetor is not a slide type carb. My son loves this carb with the 110 jet. You might have to tinker with the clip location on the needle to get a good running idle (check YouTube videos if you are unsure how to adjust the needle clip position). Took us about 30 min to dial in the needle clip, air/fuel and idle adjustments. She runs great now. Try turning up the idle for cold starts. We haven’t had much luck using the choke but that’s not an issue for us. Also recommend the K&N 62-1450 38mm air filter for the intake.
