I will never even touch a hacksaw again...for the rest of my life.
I realize that this is intended for auto body workm and the like, but I had several use cases for which this *might* have worked out, if I got lucky. So, with a lot of uncertainty, I bought it.When it arrived, I dressed it up with a whip, lubed it, mounted the 18 tooth blade, gave it a drink of oil, and started-in on my first project, which involved a long one-handed reach to cut out some interior plywood on the garage wall, to per,it the mounting of a new meter socket and main lug, for a new service entrance drop.Plunge cutting was a dream, and progress through the wood was fantastic. The noise level, in the confined woek space, was far less than I anticipated; but the huge plus was that I was able to access and strengthen the structureal members, and mount the service entrance hardware in less one-quarter of the time it would have taken, using other means to do the cutting.Cutting conduit and other forms of thin and thickwall tubing and pipe is lightning fast, and doing other gotms of metal cutting is a pure joy. I don't have to concentrate on the cutting method--especially un awkward places--anymore, and can devote my thought processes on the progression of the task at hand.Wherrn confronted with a series of complex cuts, to precisely tailor a threshold plate for the installation of a new security door, I automatically reached for this little guy, and just "did it".Use is intuitive, cut direction is ridiculously easy to control, and I don't finish-up a session with numb hands and ringing ears. Blade retention can be an issue but, partially drilling the blade, where the grub screw lands takes care of that for the life of the blade.Wjile I haven't yet tried it, it appears that it is possible to secure the tang of a file into the piston, which would make shaping tasks go so much faster If that works well for me, you'll have to jump me from behind and beat me unconscious, to take this from me.If that's the case, though, as soon as I come to, I'll buy another before heading to the hospital.

powerful little package
Why I didn't buy one of these years ago is beyond me. I have always hated cutting square holes in metal and have always just butchered it with an angle grinder thinking whatever device is going into it will cover my handiwork with its bezel. I was always wrong HAHA. You have to remember to get some air tool oil and keep all air tools regularly oiled or they will all die. This saw cuts great, I used the 32 TPI blade and it wizzed through 10 gauge sheet metal with ease and made the project look almost professional. It is relatively quiet and doesn't use too much air so my compressor was not having any trouble keeping up with it. I see a Youtuber I watch, RAC Garage use one of these a lot and finally decided to finally do some quality projects instead of my usual good enough to get it done but not always very pretty style.

Would recommend it for the price over tool truck airsaws
For the price it works well. Not as loud as my Snap-on and less vibration. Would recommend it for the price over tool truck airsaws.

Compact and quiet!
I have been wanting a air saw like this for a while, just took me forever to buy one. I bought an aircat 3/8" ratchet previously and was very happy with it and how compact and quiet it is. That's what made me seek out this aircat saw. Very satisfied! It is small and quiet, but still powerful and fast. Very happy with aircat tools!

Incredible saw, high power, low vibration, no jamming
This saw is incredible. High power output. Never jammed cutting 1/8 inch aluminum. Reassonably quiet with low vibration. A 5 star winner for sure! Stay away from the harbor and get a real saw.
