As you probably know, if you're ordering this replacement filter, these are great! Best tasting water ever. But the product image, showing 2 filters, is misleading. Read the print, you are just getting 1 in your order.

These are great filters. Extracts all the bad stuff. I live in the city with really processed water and these filters do the job well, leaving me with crisp clean tasteless water. You can smell how much it is actually filtering when you open the top lid.A little on the expensive side but we'll worth the money if you want to drink pristine water.

Was a Big fan of ProPur filters and their g2.0 sublime gravity filters, then they rebranded to proone, and kept the same filter design but made some adjustments, but the system was fine. Now this new RE-designed filters are terrible! g3.0 or what ever it is are absolute rip off filtration filters. Takes 1/3rd longer to filter the water now, more frequent cleaning of the filters and i already filter the water prior to filtering it with the proone filter. The water does not taste as fresh as it did with the g2.0 sublime filters either. I am absolutely disappointed with ProOne and these new filters. Unfortunately i cannot continue to support a company that provides such over priced filters with reduced performance and quality. Sadly we will be no longer supporting ProOne and switching over to a different filtration company. Sorry but this is not a realistic filtration system when it takes more then 8 hours for a ProPur Scout or Travelers system to completely filter out. These new Filters are a massive FAIL!

I purchased these as a back up set for my Berkey Travel filter. My Berkey, which I absolutely love, came with two black carbon filters. I have read that the ceramic filters are much better because they filter out fluoride as well so I purchased two of them with the intent of replacing my black carbon filters. But my black carbon filters are only about Six months old so I think I’ll use them for a while longer and just keep these as back up.

They come with a cleaning pad, so you can clean them and reuse for much longer than recommended. I tested the water from a 1 year old filter and a new one. The results were the same except for the new one filtered out the chlorine slightly more.They are ceramic.

I bought as replacement filters for my Berkey travel. These filter are a bit larger in diameter, but shorter than the black Berkey BB-9 filters. My BB-9 filters were performing fine, but in the process of moving I had left them wet without using them for an extended time and I wasn't sure if it was good to continue using them. Additionally, they were over 2 years old and I figured it was time to probably time to replace them.It sounded like the ProOne might be a reasonable substitute. I prepared and installed the G series 5 inch filters them per instructions. I noticed a much slower flow rate with the ProOne. Perhaps the 7 inch filters would have performed better, but I still think would be significantly slower than the BB-9 filters. To give you an idea of the flow rate with the ProOne filters, I fill the upper tank of my Travel Berkey with 5L of water, after over 12 hours, there will still be 2 inches of water in the upper tank. Well above the base of the filter. Whereas with the BB-9 filters, the water level would be at the bottom of the filter surface/base of the filter in far less time.Additionally, I could fill up the upper tank of my Travel Berkey with the BB-9 filters when I got up in the morning, take a quick shower and get dressed and I would have enough water to hydrate, make breakfast and take some water with me to work. I don't think the ProOne filters will achieve sufficient flow rate to achieve that.If anyone has any tips to get these to perform better, please let me know.
