Q: Can this scroll the view vertically? Like show the upper view of the camera (road) while driving, then scroll down to the lower view when backing up?

Yes, just use your finger to scroll up or down. It remembers the position separately between Reverse mode or Drive mode.

Q: Is it for cars to or only trucks ?

The Auto-Vox T9 would also work great on a car too. I installed mine 2 weeks on my F350 and love it. The camera is excellent quality and even at night it’s great. The reason they call it a truck camera is because it comes with a a good amount of wire from where the rear view mirror is located on the windshield to where the camera would be mounted at the back of the vehicle. For example, this camera has enough length of wire to use on a full size pick up truck with an 8’ bed. If you want to use this camera in a car just spool up the few extra feet of wire, zip tie it and hide it behind the carpeting in the trunk somewhere. Keep in mind, if you use the license plate bracket to mount the camera and you secure the bracket to a license plate screw the camera would be off center. It would still work but that would drive me crazy. I personally would drill a small hole in the top center of the license plate and center mount the camera on it. The camera is tiny and wouldn’t impede the viewing of your license plate. Buy a couple of small stainless nuts and bolts with some washers. The camera also comes with another type mount that you could get creative with if you didn’t like what I suggest. That’s my 2 cents anyway. Best of luck. Greg
