what glue is needed to bond to windscreen?

I'm planning to use the loctite glass bond glue they make for this sort of thing, but I can't vouch for it yet as it's not got done so far. From what I can see on the Internet it should work fine as long as you are fussy about cleaning the glass of grease etc first and follow the instructions. But I've not done it yet.

I found a suitable kit on Amazon which comes with a selection of different size back plates. You may have to file the nearest plate to shape to enable it to fit your mirror.
